Aria Pro II Guitar Resurrection 

I played an Aria Gold Top in 1970. Quality was good and played great. Another fine string change by Dane.👍

I have 4 Aria Pro II. One is the same, a XR White in great condition all stock. The neck is well built with the binding. They are cool guitars (Korean and Japan made). The LP from Matsumoku is a very nice Les Paul copy. I started playing guitar with Aria Pro II in the 90's, and I like this brand a lot.

I had an Aria Pro II SG copy several years ago and it was an excellent guitar. Very good Japanese quality and was one of the first guitars that I ever owned that had coil splitting on the humbuckers. Worked very well with a tube amp, and the neck was great on it. Traded it for a Fender, and to be honest, I wish I had the Aria back. Thanks for the great videos.

I do the same with the strings, it helps keep the strings aligned a little better so that it doesnt have too much of a bend at the nut. EVH did the same on his original balck and white strat before he had the floyd put on

Nice fix on the pickup covers. I think it looks better when you can see the pole pieces, but that's me. It's also nice that you go the extra mile with the fretwork. Not many guitar shops will do that.

I had an 84 Aria Pro HH Strat copy in a dark metallic red. It was my first "proper" guitar. I wished I would've kept it. It played and sounded so good.

Covers for active, uncovered for passive. The old Jackson pickups from the 80s are the exception for this. Lol Nice job, looks great.

Oh, that's an XR series. It looks very similar to the one I have except the one I have is a GT 2 series. It's a bit worse for wear though, nothing major, just the humbucker casing is broke so the cover falls out against the strings. I haven't played it in a long time. I'd originally bought it second hand way back in about 1991 and I now understand it's a very rare make nowadays, hard to find. From what I remember of it, it played really well and had a lovely sound.

I love Aria's Kramer knockoffs. The XR, SL, libra and the Excel (XL) have the Kramer vibe without the price tag. If Jackson clones are your thing, check out Fernandes.

What's the size of the stud thanks i want to change my aria pro ll magna series trem bridge but I'm afraid that the stud wont fit....thanks in advance

Put a small washer on the top of pickup cover and put the screw that came with it into the broken cover and the washer. I think that would work without seeing the damage myself.

Yes I have a 1979 Aria Pro 2 with a serial number that said 1982. That a bad Japanese recession and the Japanese economy was in a slump for over a decade! I know how precious my Japanese guitars are so please don’t trash talk guitars until you make one better okay that’s all I ask from RU-vid guys!

I am currently working on an Aria Pro II FS Series. An SSS Strat style. Black on black as well. It has some of the worst hardware of all the project guitars I have come across. I was a bit surprising. The hollow trem block took the cake. LoL!!

I have a question that's probably stupid but am gonna ask anyways. Why are pup covers necessary? Pros cons? I kinda get in on my metal caged Seymours but what are plastic covers going to do so the sound or tone? Maybe look better but makes the pup taller, and especially middle pups just get in the way if they're to tall. I leave mine off of say my lollar singles. Am I missing something?

it's a no no using furniture polish, use car polish like Maquires scratch x it can take scratches out and shine up dull areas, furniture polish has bad petroleum products in it can ruin a finish after years of use, be better off just cleaning the guitar with a non ammonia windex, turtle wax would be better then spray polish, my first serious electric guitar was an aria pro 2 I picked up at a flea market, has a bread board finish where you can feel the grain on it's sunburst body,great maple neck, I got it for $35 at a flea market, best playing strat I own, come on Dane just try some car polish, so we don't have to cringe every time we watch you spray another axe with pledge. 🤣👍🇺🇲

Dude u got micro mesh pads use them on the fretts, if those fretts are polished properly ur more likely to get a sale

nope epoxy 5 min will dol thje job super glue will not hold after timer it break super dosent have the streangth really yeah it bonds but itys not strong the epopxy will be better bro.
