The latest model 911614 had a few issues... wheel adjustment locking, bagger blows a little grass out at the connection, the blades coming off. I know some of these have been addressed but I have trouble finding information on which serial# series and how Ariens is addressing these issues on units already in distribution. I'm a big Ariens fans from my experience with the snow blowers and hoping Ariens stay in consumer walk behind mowers game. I want to buy the Ariens Razor 21 Reflex Self Propelled Lawn Mower (911614) and hop you can help me with this info.
Kinda wish it was a bit more clearly stated that the basic model doesn’t allow for vertical storage. I don’t have much storage space at all and the salesman told me that I could store it upright. Luckily I found out I could not do that before I did turn it vertical but it would’ve been nice to know before I bought it. Could you guys let the stores that you sell them to know that the basic model does not allow for that so other people don’t make the same mistake in their purchase as I did? Would it be ok to store the mower outside under a tarp or something or will that lead to a significantly shorter service life?
The bar I have for the REFLEX action appears to have a slot it fits into, but my bar is loose and just hangs down. Anyone know how to get it to fit into the slot on the back of the plastic piece that moves up and down to move to my walking speed?

Is there a way to make it go faster. Is there a switch or something . I cut our grass and it seems it goes to slow. I'm 78 yrs old an I always cut our glass.

I've seen them at Lowe's and like the steel deck and its deep too. I just wish the tires had a bit deeper tread. The Razor has a slightly wider tire. The mower is placed right next to the Honda Mower and their tires have deeper treads. However, Honda is exiting the lawn mower market so I wouldn't be buying one them. I could care less about the color of the tires too. Ball Bearing insert good though on the higher end.
