How could anyone not like The Chapelle show? It was one of the most brilliant sketch comedy shows in T.V. history. I don't think I have ever laughed as hard watching something on T.V.
I remember that. Carlos Mencia was trying to copy Chappelle's show. I remember one unfunny skit that had a black midget that looked like Lil Jon and he was saying "YEEAAAA" just like how Dave Chappelle used to say it when impersonating Lil Jon. Mencia's show wasn't funny at all.

The only reason I could see white peoples getting upset about the black panthers today is the reasons they were created have been gone for so long.. could they exist in some organized fashion hidden somewhere sure but they can’t show there face for they are ostracized and canceled. And nowdays the cops are diverse and honestly scared to arrest black people the most. Other then that i can’t imagine anyone getting mad about the black panthers creation back in the day.

I remember Dave Chappelle had the most queit person in my school laughing, every race, loves the show, it had a humor that everybody could love and understand, and the cast of the show from artists/comedians/actors was just spot on.
That's why I like Aries Spears, I'm the same way. I'm a very blunt person who don't give a damn about personal feelings. I'll say how I feel about something and if you don't like it you can go cry in a dark corner. To many individuals to care about everyone's feelings

New Black Panthers of today have nothing to do with the Black Panthers of the 60-70s. They even sued to stop them from using their name. Those people totally suck and are tarnishing the work and sacrifices those in the 60s and 70s made. Aries Spears is such a talented comedian. It's a shame that he has he has to now choose to remain true to himself and his art or play politics to achieve the legacy he well deserves. Dave Chappelle was able to after a decade of exile. God bless him. I hope Aries finds a way too
Hello Mr. Vlad, There was very popular R&B singer in the early 90's whose name is Lorenzo Smith. He made three very nice albums, and disappeared from the scene in 1995. If you could find him, and interview him, I'm SURE it would be a hit. He was on Luke Records, and had two hits in 1992 titled "Make Love to Me", and "I can't stand the pain". Chappelles show was alright ,his stand ups and late night appearances on Conan and other talk shows is where he makes me laugh the most I swear he says the most hilarious things in the moment he's just naturally funny he can think of something funny on the spot without trying that hard .unlike Kevin Hart where he forces a unfunny joke in your throat or tries to hard to be funny.
I'm french which is already quite racist country who refuse to accept it (what Aries says about black is the same about arabs here) so when I was eighteen I went to States, man I felt racism in the air ! When you live in a street where blacks are on one side and whites on the other, this is a racist society, and heavy one. And by the way the interview is about Aries, not Vlad.

Dave Chapelle show made black people look normal.. We can laugh and enjoy comedy that's on a average everyday level.. He flipped stereotypes on their head, he took cliches to a new level, and he had a message that was genius.
His comment "JUST US" is referring to some people misinterpreting instead of just Black Lives Matter, All Lives Matter. The "BLM " movement has never said all lives doesn't matter, what they're saying is that Black peoples' lives are just as significant as anyone else. Him saying," ALL LIVES AREN'T BEING KILLED BY THE POLICE, JUST US" is exactly what that means, all race of people don't get targeted the way Black people get targeted. It's obvious other race of people get mistreated by cops, but damn sure not the way Black people & NO ONE can dispute that.

First off I want to say that State Farm parody was fucking classic, I have to disagree with the whole "Most forgiving race" thing though... Not saying Black people aren't forgiving, every color has different people... However, the fact white people are still getting shit for slavery when no white person alive TODAY owns a "Slave" is kind of a contradictory. I just wish everyone got along but we live in an imperfect world.
History pertains to all race of people who influenced, affected & or changed our past, but everyone's not mentioned in books/school books. Trying to omit or hand-pick the stories put in books about Black people is a clear sign of INEQUALITY.

It was a sad day in comedy when Dave's show got cancelled. But hey, it's all about the control of the media courtesy of white supremacy. Correct me if I'm wrong, Comedy Central is partnered or owned by NBC. Like I said, correct me if I'm wrong. The longest running tv series on NBC currently is Saturday night live: a sketch comedy series. It took that show at least more than a decade to become a cultural phenomenon. Dave's show took about less than two months to reach that feat. I'm saying this because Bill Cosby try to buy NBC twice and look what's happening to him now. Slandered all over the media. My point is this: ever since the OJ trial. The government made sure that the shit they owned wasn't use against them. Johnny Cochran's influence of the media towards the black communities in California was so big that it was almost imminent that the entire state was gonna burn to the ground on some by any means necessary shit. And to be honest, it was gonna happen and government knew it.
Aries a bit of hypocrite, he says 'funny is money' and it only matters 'if people laugh', yet he was dissing Key & Peele, talking about how white they act and their exaggerated impression of black people. I could be wrong, but I think he's just salty that they're more successful than him.
I'm surprised that Arie had something positive to say about another black comedian, usually he just hates on them. I want to tell Arie to get some new material and quit doing the same lame impressions that he has been doing for 20 years. Only a small small group of people would be offended by good comedy like the Chappelle Show. But our wonderful media will have you thinking its the majority.
We had Parks & Recreation, in terms of a show that was funny, but said something about American society. That was a very political show. Not as much with race relations, but America as a whole.
