Hell yeah!! Trooper Jacob Byrd in the very first one!! I may be an old lady of 62 but wow!😊 The best TVI trooper & doesn’t take any sh*t while being a good cop too.
That second chase is a textbook description of "no honor among thieves". Driver's buddy tries to bail out on him when the TVI happens, then when they get into the neighborhood the driver ditches and leaves the other guy to get busted. How much you wanna bet both those idiots rat each other out in front of the judge to try and get a lighter sentence for themselves?
Oh man the byrd the byrd is the word. I already knew where this pursuit was headed with him driving someone in the ditch apprehended lol. Good job ASP. I'm trying to figure out how I can start getting videos in my state of ISP and posting them. I did my first foia request. We'll see how it goes. BTW that's Indiana State Police.
Hi Harry, Just wanted to say, I hope you are feeling better. I still think about the pain you have. You are still in my prayers my friend. Have a good night sleep and have a wonderful week. Take care 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Fun fact: Jacob Byrd's Latin name is Falco Peregrinus. It means 'noblest🎖, most spectacular 🎇of all byrds of prey 🦅, powerful 💪, renowned for speed, can reach 200 mph 🚔🔥, color varies but feathers on the head are black 🧒'.
I'd be even more impressed if he'd stay calm and not be ready to shoot some poor kid for having expired tags. Not to mention destroying their cars, or for that matter their cop cars.
Byrd doesn't get that excited. If people wanna run from the police in general and there cars get totaled that's their fault not the police. Watching asp chases they don't wreck alot of cars
When the video starts out with the Byrdman, you know that it's going to be a wild one!! ❤ Haven't seen the Byrdman in quite a while!! His PITs are always so smooth and precise! God Bless the ASP!! ❤🙏
1:34 I don't believe it, the police are pointing a gun at him and are about to throw him out of the car, and the driver is lighting a cigarette. You can see the flame of the lighter.
The man with the braids tied up behind his head, had nitrile gloves on his hands. You can not tell me he didnt know the car was stolen. Dont want to leave his fingerprints anywhere.
I wonder if the ASP police academy application has a question like this on it: "How comfortable are you with driving at speeds of over 100 mph? If you're not, go home to mommy." ;-)
Superman: I'm faster than a speeding bullet, I can leap tall buildings in a single bound, I'm more powerful than a locomotive. Trooper Byrdman: Hold my beer....
Question: How do state troopers talk with local and county officers via their radios? We often hear an officer said he was communicating with the local or sherrif teams. Can the state troopers' radios communiate directly with the other officials or does the trooper need to reach out to them via their own dispatcher? An interesting viewer from Tennessee.
What's with this trooper Triplet? Must have gonads the size of BB's. Had that perp on the ramp doing 10mph and let him get away. Sad and sorry performance of his job.
That was actually very embarrassing... Any other ASP would have had the SUV stopped long before he could have gotten back on the Highway!!! Maybe he's in the wrong job??... Idk? Definitely needs more training!!
I was going to say that! Idk why but he seemed a little hesitant to PIT the SUV...? Why?? He literally had so many chances to take him out BEFORE he got back on the highway!! Instead it became a long chase that ended up endangering other people on the road!! Just my opinion. Any other Trooper would have ended it at the start!!
I really wish city cops would get some of the training ASP troopers get. The troopers have to watch the suspects AND look out for other cops, the public and crossfire. ASP are amazing!
If you are to “scared” to stop for police you should loose your license for 2-10 years or until you grow up. Plus give these idiots 1 month for every mile they flee.
The guy driving the stolen SUV that flipped (why ELSE would he be wearing gloves?) is why we still need chain gangs. Make 'em stay in prison until they've paid off what they broke.
I agree with you one hundred percent!! That chase should have ended while the SUV was still in the ditch before he made it back onto the road....and onto the highway!! It almost seemed like he was very hesitant to even do anything offensive towards stopping the SUV!!
It seemed like he was very hesitant to even do anything on the offensive!! He didn't keep up and he could have ended it even BEFORE he got back on the highway!! I mean wth?!
We sit in our arm chairs and make comments but how many could do the job better!! Could be Trooper Triplett did not have the proper training to do a pit!!
I live in Los Angeles & watching how Arkansas State Police handles ALL of these high speed chases is just PURE ENTERTAINMENT - it's so funny!!! CHP handle our chases completely differently out here - different state, different techniques lol
You can always tell the Troopers from the other cops. Troopers don't play. 😂 Cops standing with guns drawn, Trooper walks up and yanks the scumbag out the window.
Thank you for showing us this, @arkansaspoliceactivity . I've been all over the world, seen a lot of crazy things. But I have never seen anything as crazy as between 1:34 and 1:36 , where the perp takes time to try lighting a cigarette, immediately before getting his passenger-side window smashed, and him dragged out of his truck. I replayed that segment multiple times, and on a big screen, showed it to my wife, just to make sure that I wasn't seeing things. Un-freakin'-believable. Who does that?? And right after a TVI/PIT manoever??
You know when the video starts off with a Byrd strike, it going to be good! The perp in that rollover was lucky. He got pitted off the left side and rolled until he rolled across the road then was ejected. Another thing I don’t understand is ppl not even involved who feel the need to stop, get out of their vehicle after being told to move on, and start filming. SMH! That Asian chick seriously thought that trooper was going to buy her “I didn’t see or hear anything” excuse. 🤣
