Highlights of the Razorbacks 42-27 smacking of the #14 Rebs in a rowdy Razorback Stadium. The win improved the Hogs to 38-28-1 in the all-time series, including 13-3 in Fayetteville.
We can still get to 8 wins, just one shy of last season's mark. If you throw out the unrealistic expectations for a team that lost a ton of leadership from the prior squad and that played yet another grueling schedule -- You could say Pittman and the Hogs are still trending as a program. Dear Sam Pittman, you are appreciated! F the haters!
9 wins and 8 wins back to back , especially considering where we were 5 yrs ago, that would not be too shabby . Sam's a good coach and people need to realize he's still learning and improving in the HC role.
I don't know if "one shy of last season" is an accurate description of this year. We had half a season of injured secondary, two games without a starting QB, and two losses to teams that were clearly worse than us. Honestly, blowing out #14 by three scores is where this team is right now. Inability to deal with injuries, mostly justified, is how we ended up where we did. They improved this year. Offense is still hit or miss and seems unable to adapt during or between drives, but I still think the team is second best to Bama in the west. (Yes, I think the standings are due to small sample size, not accurate)
Obviously we need to keep the throttle down in the 4th quarter. I don't think the score is indicative of how dominate of a game we had. Granted, we gave up over 700 yards of offense, which is a credit to them for being able to move the ball! The Hogs just had solid red zone defense and was able to win the turnover battle 3-0. Still such a great way to send out the seniors and it's so good to be going bowling! Hope you had a blast getting to be there WarMachine, I had the blessing of being on the Arkansas sideline the entire game! GO HOGS & WPS!
@@hogfather198 after watching the replay here you're right. They knew they weren't going to be able run the ball enough times take up a five TD difference in one quarter.
Yeah the Bama game wasn't gonna happen. Ms state took it to us pretty good but could have been different. Every other game hands down we should have won.
Great stuff as always. Do you think the ole miss defender should have been ejected for the punch? Also what was the feeling like in the crowd when that happened? I was in absolute disbelief that he didn't get tossed form the game.
He threw a punch and the fact that he hit the QB face mask or grazed it was enough to warrant the ejection. Game was complete domination by Arkansas and when you can win and by that much (and they were being sportsman in the 4th because it was a "W") that's a very lopsided win over a very good Miss team. JMO
Honestly you can make the argument that he probably should have been ejected for what happened before the punch. Dude drug KJ ten yards after the whistle and tried to body slam him while two refs who were three yards away blew their whistles in his ear
The fact that the hogs practiced in the cold and came out on game day and beat ole miss is amazing WPS. I'm proud of the hogs we are bowl eligible I can't wait to find out what bowl we get to go to
Thank you for posting the Highlights. Was able to watch this one, but its not an official W until Warmachine posts the highlights. Woo Pig, Bowl Eligible.
I got antsy to see highlights, so I started watching ESPN's highlight video. They didn't include footage of our first touchdown, so I turned that trash off. I'll never be impatient again. Warmachine ftw every time. WPS.
I hope Sanders claimed that ball from the 68-yard touchdown run. And I hope he has a lot of those this season. I say the first test is BYU, and it would be great to see him in full stride by then because Jefferson is gonna be a monster this season. With both of those guys firing on all cylinders, defenses will be scared of the Razorbacks. Rant over lol #WPS Edit: Yup. This aged well.
I just wanna appreciate Trey Knox for a minute. He made so many big plays and is bound to be a pro. I'm glad he didn't decide to leave when things got tough, unlike some people..(ahem! Warren Thompson. ahem!)
I'm hoping it's the liberty bowl cause I live like 20 mins from the stadium n to see them in person would be so cool it's still a dream to see them playing in dwr but at least I'll get to see them
No way we gave up 2 separate 200 yard rushers. & 670 yards of offense.. Yet still comfortably cruised to a win... Like.. How die that even happen?? 😁😁😁😁
I'm 2 weeks late with this, but little did we know this would be our last win over an SEC West team (unless they opt to bring divisions back in the future).
@@WARMACHINE2013 Much worse than we all expected and a season no one saw coming. No o-line and Rocket being hurt didn't help at all. At least we got the W in Gainesville. Hopefully we can make the right moves in the offseason with hirings, recruits, and transfers and we aren't too decimated by the portal.
The comment below. I have 2 agree 💯 with u when the ol ms player hit kj he should have been.out of the game immediately he did it rite In front of the ref.great game love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 the hogs. Let's go razorbacks nxt wk .
Just barely getting bowl eligible at 6&6 is not were the program should be. Chad Morris was so terrible that Pittman just going to some minor bowl is spun as success.
