Damn snipers are going to be meta like guards, first Typhon now ray. I'm impressed how she took down patriot first phase with warfarin buff. Looking forward to her
Also she did that with only Sl7. And about snipers being as meta as guards, that's because phys damage from 6*s are generally the best source of damage in the game
Ray not meta. Many characters remove one patriot 1 bar hp for a skill. Typhon removes two health bars in solo without buffs. So far, Ray is just a good character, but definitely not meta. The same a pozëmka and chalter is still better than it in any situation.
One thing I noticed is the S2 range expansion lets you mitigate the problem of the "reload shoot reload shoot" ammo system by creating a time when she has increased reload and no one in range. Very fun archetype so far.
@@k_a4685 It happens during the skill as well. If she stops shooting or runs out of ammo (she gets 10 shots in on S3, so she has to reload twice at the end) she'll start speed reloading again.
Remember, switching to your secondary is faster than reloading. Sadly, she didn't bring it. Tbh, I like her ammo system. It makes her balanced. Also, I like the capybara.

I, really don’t get what HG was going for with this archetype… She reloads, a SINGULAR BULLET when she runs out of ammo. It is so ridiculous it’s not even funny. Like, I can maybe see in from a game design perspective as like “they wanted to make a sniper archetype that gets what is effectively a ASPD debuff after they shoot a set amount of shots” but this is THE most awkward way to do it in my opinion. It. Logistically. Makes. No. Sense???? Am I getting overly emotional over a tower defense game with cute chibi girls in it? Yes I am. Do I care? No.
You know if a game is that good that you're willing to look 6 months in the future so that you can start saving for a character it is okay to get overly emotional. Also when said game is literally art created by people who spent years learning how to draw and voice professionally and yet I have not even said a word about the people who actually take all these things and combine them into a game or write the story and lore. Creating something at this level is not as easy to pull of as people think it is. Honestly this applies for many, many things in our world.
@@neptop8978 Hard agree. The main reason why I bother to criticize certain aspects of the game is because I love it so much at the end of the day. If I didn’t, I would not care enough to point out potential flaws.
@@hdes330no, hunter ammo system is different. They have a battery bar besides them as ammo indicators, and they spend 1 ammo to attack at all. They can't attack if they have no ammo and need to reload
