Simulation of APBC shell from the 90mm gun of ARL-44 tank hitting upper hull front armor of T29 Heavy.
90mm obus de rupture (10.6kg APBC) at 930 m/s
vs
102mm cast armor at 54 deg.
(angle of fall ~ 1°, negated by a small side angle)
90mm SA45 gun muzzle velocity - 1000 m/s (930 m/s at 0.7 km)
calculation time ~70h

7.5 cm FK 16 n.A. L/36 with K. Gr. Rot Pz at 600m/s (starting velocity is 650m/s at charge 4.) Vs Char B1 or B1 Bis would be nice.

As a reference, for those interested here, the 1939 Print for its Ammo Manual sayes that it will reliably penetrate 55mm/30°/700m. Which would even be enove for the side armor. (And for the He rounds its still 20mm/30°/600m.)
