As a Brit living in the USA, a place I Love very much. I think this Video should be viewed on every single USA tv channel, every cable channel, every single local station, and all at the same time! This great nation, needs to stop ripping its self Apart, and began again, understanding that the whole is far greater than the parts. God bless America.

Sad part is you know half of this country would call them a lot of unkind words. Even a direct suggestion with a 2x4 wont change their minds. That is the level of stupidity that has to be overcome. That takes war.

🇺🇸🇵🇪🇵🇷 I'm One of the lucky ones, I grew up I grew up in Bailey's Crossroads , Virginia. I have been to Arlington cemetery many times, For funerals and visits, Bob Crosby and I Stood for many hours as we waited there at the cemetery, As we watch John Kennedy be put to rest.. Anyone who visits Washington DC And goes to the Lincoln memorial should walk across the bridge to Arlington cemetery, Maybe they will appreciate their veterans more.. It's free you don't need an invitation... God-bless America 💖

♥️🇺🇲♥️ My gosh... To have seen your DI's headstone. With all of the different sites that cover our Arlington. It has to be hard knowing that he has passed away. His soul has gone to Heaven. My belief. Those that have served our country, all branches, have a place down the road waiting for them. I say this, so very sincere, thanking you for your service and love of our country. Both of my kids went through Parris Island also. Fond memories they have. For all who make the choice to protect our Constitution, I am forever grateful. He then was sent to the Aleutians chain and from there to England and then to the stepping stones to Belgium and the Bulge.During the war he distinguish himself as being a good soldier and received many awards for his service. My pop was a patriot to the highest order and always told everyone he was proud of his service. My point is dad always told me and my sister to 1. Honor our God and 2. Honor our nation always. The people today who are vandalizing monuments and statues in the name of justice and equality need to see this video. We have to embrace and learn from our history, not to scrub it clean. That’s what makes America unique from other countries. I’ve always wondered why Confederate soldiers were also buried in Arlington, and I’ve learned so much from this video and have an even deeper respect for America and our history.
@billywild5440
@billywild5440 3 месяца назад
And yet the woke got that Confederate monument taken down. A monument to "reconciliation" was torn down and the graves around it were desecrated. I had to quit watching this video after seeing that monument.

The first time I visited this most hallowed ground, America's most sacred of resting places, was in 2014. Whilst in my Civil Air Patrol uniform helping my colleagues during such a poignant day of laying wreaths to honor those whom having given all for our nation, I finally felt a sense of closure after 17 years. Over a decade and a half earlier my Grandmother Preusser had been interred alongside her husband my grandfather who fought in WW II, and yet my family didn't allow me to attend the funeral because they thought I'd be overwhelmed, but 17 years later I finally got to say my final farewells! Arlington isn't just a National Cemetery, it is a shrine, a cradle of our history, a place that tells of how America began 248 years ago and how far we've come as a country!!

America became a superpower in 1945 and the American people have suffered greatly in military actions since then, with over 100,000 dead service men and women and 300,000 wounded. Being a superpower is not easy. You really have to admire the selfless commitment of the US military to their country.

I think I am the one who is speechless. Your kind words and the fact that you took the time to express them mean more to us than you could know. And, you are right, these people who paid such a price are so amazing. We got to interview so many heroes and their families, and we were astounded most of all by their humility. In fact, many of the Medal of Honor recipients we talked to for the film on The Medal didn't even think what they did was special. I asked one man why in the world he dove on a live grenade (saving 5 fellow soldiers' lives) and he thought for a moment and then said "you would have done the same thing." What a humble, good man. I could tell you more stories, but based on your comment, you already get it, and probably know more than a few on your own. Thank you for your words - they are a real blessing.
