OK so I am on my 3rd set of Arlo cameras and today (November 2021) I got locked out of the Arlo app video 'History' function because I now have to subscribe to one of their plans of which there are two choices. The price of both is excessive and had I known about this when I originally acquired the camera set I'd never have gone ahead with the purchase. What is it about this cynical marketing model that appeals to pretty much every US tech company? How do they think they'll be perceived once they play their 'Use once' Joker card? Well I can tell them... you won't retain your customers...

Moreover, you can still use some options of your Arlo cameras without a subscription, such as the live stream and push notifications. In no plan, I don’t get basic notification since 2 weeks. Is Arlo pushing customers for paid services?

Hi @kutluceceli9581, Even without an Arlo Secure plan, your Arlo product will still offer push notifications when it detects motion (or also sound, if sound detection is supported).
