Coach B, I have been struggling with speed under the bar while doing squat cleans. I was wondering do have any drills to help increase speed under the bar for squat cleans? Thank U Sir, Steven
What were those people doing in the back room. It looked like holding onto elastic cords and simulating a "ball slam". This seems like the opposite of an olympc lift. I wonder what the application is??
On that first attempt that's exactly why I refuse to lift heavy on Olympic lifts.. An inch higher and that's going to land on him while doing a split.. Smh
What a dangerous environment: full of too much clutter and so limited space. Lesson from Kevin Ogar's accident, maintain a spacious clear zone around you when lifting heavy weights.
You are an ABSOLUTE idiot to use Ogar's situations, as if it is even a valid argument. "Clutter" had nothing to do with what happened to him. Doctors have come out and said that that was a freak accident AND that isn't what paralyzed him! He even came out and said that it was the way in which they moved him afterward. How dare you attempt to use someone's situation, which you clearly don't know about, to justify an argument. And hearing what you just said, you clearly have never lifter at Coach B's before. Stupid fucking troll.
Adam, they don't want a valid argument. If they did, they'd use data instead of crap. One day when they stop whining and grow up they'll do a real workout instead of isolation crap.
Adam Aranda and yes it was because of the plates that were stacked behind kevin ogar that made the barbell bounce back in a strange way. have you ever fucking heard of an a REAL olympic weightlifter (not a crossfitter) getting paralyzed because of a bounce back of a barbell? The fact is there isn't because they keep the platform CLEAR of anything unless youre doing block work
