Thank you for this. All of it, as far as anything we can be nearly certain of, is indeed after 1500. Much if not all from the Greenwich workshop of King Henry VIII. The book series covers 1400-1500 and I was speaking in that context though I see how I wasn't fully clear about that since I never posted about the first two books (1400-1450, and 1450-1500). There are some pieces of that time which might be English style surviving - very few - but there is no way to attribute them to a workshop or patron to confirm those suspicions. The Greenwich armors either have strong royal attributes, size, and style to other known ones, or are from the sketch book of about 30 armors made for elite patrons after Elizabeth took over in the mid 16th century.
