If you don't have the access to those variants of equipment, a kettlebell works great! Just make sure to load your riser by locking your knuckle high. If grab the kettlebell high, the weight of the kettlebell will try to pull your riser down, and that's where the resistance comes in. Great video, Michael!

2:28 omg I am so happy you said that about riser training, I been doing the same, I even said it to some guys I train (armwrestling)with that for me it seemed better to train, keeping it an the top position fully engaged.. but they all called me retarded.. I feel justified now, thanks champ!

For elbow pain specifically he fills his sink about half way with ice, then the rest of the way water. Fully submerge the arm in the ice bath and do not remove for 15 minutes. pull the arm out dry it off apply icy hot balm and keep it wrapped in a towel for another 45. He also uses a tinge unit. The day after any armwrestling he does a light high rep bicep workout for bloodflow to damaged tissue. And in addition to doing wrist curls he also applies resistance and wrist curls the opposite direction. It strengthens the tops of the forearms for balanced stress on the tendons.

I started wrist wrestling when I was 17. Over 30 yrs ago. Then after a couple years I was armwrestling. It would be a decade before I won my first National Championship.

Michael I think if you made a workout DVD you would be pretty successful on it. That gauntlet you put yourself through is intense. So many cardio freaks out there Would would buy it. Or maybe when this whole Covid thing gets over with you can do a challenge and a lucky Fan can do the work out with you

Thanks for the tip. I have been training riser and pronation for a couple of months and since then my wrists hurt too often, doesn’t feel natural. I think because of the wrist dump you are referring to. So I will train like you explained and I’m curious what your favorite pronation exercises are!

(new to arm wrestling) just curious if there's a video out on how to drop down with your body when doing a toproll, noticed I'm not good at a hook but being a big guy when I hold on and basically drop I do well, and how far your allowed to go down I guess similar to a kingsmove but my arm stays up right position

I use hand grippers ..can close a 350lbs.....are they good or should I do something else
