@@firdaus125 imagine then him on the 80's drugs then like the other guys if he had kept going... he was smaller. I wouldn't say tiny. he here wasn't that much smaller than 1980 really...
I love the fact the villain rips off the furnace door with fingerless gloves, and doesn't give two fucks about what would be probably 300 degrees on his hands, haha
One of my favorite movies from the 80's. It doesn't matter how cheesy and outdated it gets, it remains good. Truly an enjoyable action flick. Simple, straightforward, plenty of action, Arnold in his physical prime (at least his movie period physical prime), psychopathic villain. What more can you ask for?
If you know anything about fighting and watch MMA you would know that a Walmart body could easily be better for fighting than a muscled body builder which muscles uses oxygen and gas under one minute.
Year and Arnie throwing that pipe not only through Bennett (who was wearing chainmail?!) and also through the pressure tank behind him. He should have joined the olympics at that point :D
@@Daniel-rd6st Chainmail only protects against slashing damage, not piercing or blunt attacks. This was 100% realistic. Poor Bennett, he must have just looked down on his horrible chainmail investment as he died.
You’d be amazed how easy it is to beat a muscle man in a fight. Especially in a knife fight. But I gotta give it to ya Bennett shouldn’t be doing this well in the hand to hand equivalent of a brawl. He’s just trying to out brawl a human tank rather than press his own advantage which would be to keep to Arnold’s off hand side and go in on the 45 degree angles rather than the standard in and out tactic. Hell I’d be using BJJ or Kali and finishing this fight quick if I were Bennett. Arnie may be wounded but he’s still a goddamn beast. Should taken out Arnie’s legs first then finished him.
You wouldn't have wanted to meet beer guy in mad max 2! Totally phycotic and very hard to kill was Vernon Wells. The best you could hope for was being his companion on the back of his motorbike :)
1:07 Dude just lifted a piping hot iron door and used it as a weapon like it was nothing and then Arnold lifts it up as a shield to protect himself, these guys must both have a really high pain threshold!
Watched this 3 times in the theater when it came out, cheesey AF but I loved almost anything with Arnie in it back then right after this movie he did raw deal
Wow, I remember finding this movie in my parent's secret stash of films in the closet when I was like 10 years old, and watching it whenever they weren't home. Man, this brings back memories.
Тут и пара зубодробительных ударов хватит , чтоб не встать ! 😳 Крепкий Фредди Меркьюри ! И Арни не подражаемый ! - Чёрта с два ! Выпусти пар Беннетт ! ✊
Bennett's acting was Oscar-worthy and his threats were the most badass in movie history. Just take a moment and think about the incredible marksmanship required to shoot a man exactly between the balls.
@@madnomad3861 true but also bennett was in arnold/ matrixes green berret special forces unit in the army for the plots sake of the movie before matrix retired and bennett became a mercenary. so, they are supposed to be more equally matched having the same training which is the running gag in the movie. As far as the army its just a bunch of ragtag guys some dictator recruited that have no training just lots of firearms. so, for the sake of the movie it makes sense matrix would dominate them aside from him also being written as a character doing that. Cool fact to matrix is actually based on a video game so theres a certain level of super hero vibe built into the movie as well with matrix as a character for that reason.
@@Mr.Goodkat Contra? Though the guys in Contra are based on Arnie. That'd be pretty funny. Arnie inspires Contra and then Contra inspires Matrix (played by Arnie). Kind of like the Will Smith movie "I Am Legend". People said I Am Legend was a rip off Omega Man.. But the thing is Omega Man was a rip off of..... I AM Legend (the book) lol.
Someone with his physique fighting 80s Arnold creates such strong dissonance. Dude looks like he just got out of line in a Wal Mart, not someone who could go toe to toe with Arnie at this point
That film was crap on every level, the scene with the yellow Porsche when Arnie pushes it back onto its wheels, it's badly damaged during that chase but when he and that dopey bird drive off you can clearly see it hasn't a scratch on it. 😆👎
@@andrewkerr3836 Don't get me started on how he leveled an entire building with a claymore mine (and the obvious mannequins for soldiers) or how a frag grenade went off not even 4 feet from him and didn't tear him to ribbons...
One of the best action movies of the 80s. Over the top, ultraviolent, action packed and full of great one liners. Easily the best Schwarzenegger movie ever.
@@janvanthuyne1123 In October 1985, Schwarzenegger was 38 yrs old so during filming he was 37 going 38. He was born in 1947. You are right , Vernon Wells looked much older than Schwarzenegger in this movie.
This was the first movie of its kind back in the 80's... There was no other movie that was edited this fast... It was exciting, and it paved the way to super fast-paced action films, with huge budgets.
For all its cheese having no background music over some fights makes it surprisingly suspenseful. You know in a modern movie would have something "epic" blaring here.
Great movie but for those people who thought Arnold could only ever do acting in action movies should watch his movie "Maggie" especially if your also a fan of The Walkimg Dead tv show.
