1. Murph. The workout everyone knows and with the track and football field would be easy to follow with the workout open to the public. Has not been programmed in a few years and I think it’s time for a comeback. Lastly, the Navy has a base in Fort Worth so it makes sense to honor a Seal at the games this year. 2. Rich Froning. Took the sport by storm and only a rope kept him from winning the games as a rookie. Is the only rookie everyone knew is going to be the future champ and likely the champ for multiple years. 3. Love cuts from 40-30 but for 30-20, as long as no events post this cut are specialist events, the cut fine. The idea that a specialist can impact the leaderboard on the final day with a home run event adds to the podium drama.
Barclay could’ve won, but it seems like he has to sound like the smartest guy in the room. If he would’ve made a point with all the statistics he gave then he may have won. He had the best points and the most facts but never made a clear and concise point.
