in this episode, I'm going to compare the features and advantages of arrangers and music work stations and compare those together to see which one is the right music instrument for everyone needs.
Well I rarely see someone go to the extent of both explanation and demonstration. Congrats to the brands and models in the collection. Keep contributing for aspiring musicians.
Thanks for this comprehensive overview of arranger vs synthesizer/workstation keyboards. To my knowledge, no one has done a comparison like this before, and your comments along with your excellent impromptu song demonstrations were very helpful. A suggestion for a future video: I think it would be helpful to anyone considering purchasing a synth/workstation if you could compare specifically the arpeggio and pattern sequencing capabilities of the synths ( (i.e. Yamaha Montage M, Korg Nautilus, Roland Fantom and Kurzweil 2700). I know that you've already released a video giving your overall impressions and ratings of these synths which focused more on sound quality and keyboard action. But to complement that, I'm talking specifically about a comparison of their onboard arpeggiation and pattern making features. Just a suggestion!
@heianorgetralala you can control only the Genos2 sounds with Yamaha montage through MIDI. However, when you have both, you can easily use both to play with 2 hands and use Genos2 only for styles.
Workstations are not as cut through powerful as keyboards synthesises. If you play as a one man band, then it's OK. Synthesizes are better played with a band.
If you're playing alone at home or in stage definitely arranger workstation you will need the styles to play alone bt when playing with band depends on what you want bt I prefer stage keyboard like Montage Kronos Fantom
What is soundwise better (e.g. more professional) in your opinion, Genos2 or Pa5X ? Because you have also great synths and you know, what a good sound is.
When it comes to acoustic sounds like sax or guitar, the Genos2 is better. When it comes to synths, strings, pianos, and EPs, Pa5x is definitely better. The drums are slightly better on Genos2 as well.
@@synth.s here is my gentle advise, fix acoustic panels to your walls and feel the change. You'll be glad that you did. Note: acoustic panels are not only for recording purposes.
Tôi nghe một số người đánh giá trên RU-vid họ nói genos 2 là những cây đàn để giải trí tại nhà là phù hợp. Mang lên sân khấu nó k có tính chuyên nghiệp như pa5x
Hi Synth S, In your opinion, did Yamaha manage to bring the same sound power to the Montage M that Korg brought to the PA5X? I say this because I have a Korg Kronos 2 with 14 Kapro premium expansions and a Yamaha montage M 61.
Montage m ,especially the m8x with the polyphonic aftertouch, is the best current premium workstation/synthesizer on the market, and Yamaha did a very fantastic job on this latest flagship nothing can beat or even come close to the Montage M series for now!! Until the next flagship that gets released by korg or Roland or even Yamaha!!
