As BIG as he was ,and still is, and will forever be.... And to think the Kardashians don't even smile at their fans , and here's THE KNG of Rock & Roll making time to say hello and shake his fans hands! So GENUINE and HUMBLE!
Please, the karTRASHIANS only care about money. and the only reason why they're so famous is because of a sex tape that was released by kim kardashian in 2007, its what made her pop up, the family got big because of her.
@@gingerware3679 Yea its disgusting, elvis got famous through hard work and dedication, and from scatch! meaning he never had a musical family or anything, he represents the american dream for many of us.
A little trivia pricilla presley dated robert kardshian kim kardashians father also kris jenner was with bruce jenner who was married to linda thompson elvis presleys girlfriend.
I was happy that he stopped and went over to greet the group of young singers who were dressed in green. Those kids did such a good job. Elvis was so kindhearted.
Well people...this is the definition of GENTLEMAN .Elvis allways so close and tender to his fans.Great person. No one will ever come close to him as a vocalist, enterteiner and showman. He was so "cool" and had all the charisma in the world.
@@coolmacho975 But it is your business to propergate the virtuous character of someone you don't personally know? Would you say the same if you knew your friend or neighbor was abusing his wife, not my business, dude it's called being humane, it's everyone's business once you cross the line of being abusive you make it your business, don't protect abusers, ignoring is enabling. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
It must of been mentally draining for E to meet and greet so many people upon every arrival of a new town. Still, he continuously stayed kind and professional. There is only one king of Rock & Roll, and he was it!
The internet is full of garbage. But then you find awesome jewels like this video of a great beautiful decent man, Mr.Elvis Presley. Great to see. Thank You for posting.
Wow....this is the definition of a real star. He went to greet the hawaiian group and didn´t miss one.Educated, humble, handsome, great vocalist, talented and i guess he was the definition of "cool" too.
You are so right untouchble ELVIS never will their be another Elvis the king lives on all the others come and go Elvis is hear too stay love him God bless our Elvis x
Imagine been there for his arrival, no mobile phones back then just cameras and memories , he really put on a great show in that beautiful part of the world ..
Truly the greatest singer who ever lived.i was six years old when this was on tv and I was blown away by this concert.there was just something about this guy that was really special.he set the bar so high.Micheal Jackson,Garth Brooks,The Kardashians............no one will ever come close.like John Lennon said, before ELVIS there was nothing.well since ELVIS there hasn't been anything either!!!!!!!!
OMG I wish I was there, I was way too young. It’s like he’s still here on earth, how he’s missed and so loved. What a beautiful and kind man!! RIP KING!! ♥️❤️🌹♥️❤️
such a cool man, so handsome. Its like being shocked to see him. look almost like a God! so much charisma! wish it was still that time era. So quiet and peaceful. completely different frequency
Such an eloquent comment, @kareandrethomassen. 👍👍 he had an aura. He had such a high energy field around him, they said you'd feel and sense him entering the room without even seeing him. Meaning, in smaller intimate gatherings, you knew he was there before his being announced. His allure was off the charts. Men sensed Elvis' cool factor and admired and revered him in the same vein women adored him for his beauty, kindness & charisma. The fact that the man only performed in America yet still was the most well known & beloved performer worldwide - before the internet & cell phones - speaks volumes as to his pull. Elvis had so many dreams. One after another his dreams & ambitions were crushed by a fraud manager always running from the foreign authorities who'd pounce if he left the USA. So, this cunning man and his colossal gambling addictions molded the brightest star in the world's carrer around his own selfish desires, thus leading Elvis to a deadly dependence on the medications that fueled his body & dulled his disillusioned mind. Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk aka Colonel Tom Parker, wasn't a colonel, wasn't American, wasn't even Tom, ripped Elvis off an unheard of 50% of Elvis' earnings. His larceny & mishandling led to Elvis' early & tragis demise. We who loved Elvis have nothing but contempt for that disgusting man who kept Elvis Presley from the world and shattered this amazing man's destiny.
MOTÖRHEAD 53 right he would have gotten mobbed by idiots nowadays there would have been a bunch of security too actually this would have happened at all nowadays its to unsafe
Back when everyone had respect for themselves, but most importantly, they had respect for each other. Even today's artists insult one another, each one thinking they are better than the other. Back then, as huge of an artist Elvis was, Elvis NEVER insulated another artist. I met some famous people in my time who were one hit wonders that would not even give you an autograph. Elvis was LEGENDARY in his own time and even Elvis never forgot the ones who put him in the spot light, the fans, which is why he ALWAYS took the time to talk, shake your hand, hug, kiss and give you an autograph ANYTIME or ANYWHERE. Plus, Elvis saw to it that if ANYONE wanted to see his show, it didn't matter if you were rich or poor. The tickets were priced accordingly. I remember in 1977 the price for a ticket was only $20.00 or less. Nowadays, a fairly new artist that only had s few hits charges anywhere from $50, $75 and $100 or more. Way overpriced! The only way I would pay that kind of money is if the artist was actually a LEGEND that I always wanted to see but never had the chance. Colonel Tom Parker, you sir, was a marketing GENIUS! Everyone wants to be like Elvis. Don't know about that. I believe what people really want to be like is not Elvis, but rather what was inside Elvis' heart and that my friends is Jesus The Christ. I'm sure Elvis would feel the same way with that being said..... I am so thankful I was born in an era where there was once real talent, real music and having Elvis on the scene. He truly was an inspiration and someone to emulate and look up to.... Love you Elvis!
Well said. I'm a young 51 yrs of age and feel like a dinosaur now. The world is so less friendly of a place today. I was five when this was recorded and I'd love to go back to that time. This footage has really had an impact on me and I'm not sure why. It's made me think about how quickly life flies by. Take care, my friend.
@George I was 11, almost 60 now. Remember it like yesterday. I told my kids when they had their kids " don't blink", time fly's by way too fast. The 70's were in fact the best time to be alive.
Elvis Presley is the greatest interainer in the world regardless what people say or think Elvis Presley his spirit is here forever and I love him very much
Wow can't believe this was filmed back in 1973, the video is so clear that its almost like it was just filmed yesterday. I was 2 years old at the time this was filmed in Hawaii, amazing. Elvis is a freaking ladies man, every girl and even grannies are throwing themselves to him, crazy!
This was Elvis and he was just so great with his beautiful and brilliant well so Called Fans who were brilliant but he Should Have Come to England and he Would have seen is Greatest Fans Ever the worlds greatest Elvis Fans who loved him the way it Should have been we will always miss him and always love ❤️ the king of music. RIP Elvis Presley.
Hello from England There are all sorts of "stories" as to why Elvis never got to come to England. Colonel Tom's immigration status was top of the list. I have been watching lots of videos of Elvis from 1954 to just before March 58 doing shows all over the place and a lot were in Theatres and the like and venues that would hold say 300-500 people inside. From 1969 -1977 the venues were huge. Arena's and Coliseums and Civic Centres that would have a capacity of 5000, 8000, 10,000. It has made me think of what we had in he 70's -more intimate venues that would hold say 800 covers. One example was The Talk of the Town in London. This was more of a club really. Many famous people like Sammy, Frank, Ella appeared and also Tom Jones Recorded a live Album there in 1967 (my late parents had an original copy) which i have still got today. I love Tom Another example is The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel that would hold 2000. I am sure Elvis would have loved the more intimate venue and Tom would have shown him a "good time" you know what i mean! Girls, Girls, Girls, The NEC was not ready until the late 70's
Just imagine if it was now ,,all the smart phns taking selfies with the greatest ever entertainer born .

That guy had the whole package. The swagger, the clothes, the hair, the women and the money. Elvis was the epitome of cool. Never be another one who even comes close to his talent and style. I do hope he had Christ...that's the most important thing.
It's Now Or Never - KatiaTcb The only way Salvation is guaranteed is if you come to a point in your life where you know you need forgiveness and invite Christ into your heart and ask him to save you. Then after you're saved you publicly acknowledge that fact with immersion baptizing. Baptizing isn't a necessity, but doing so after you confess is being obedient to The Lord. Singing gospel music just means you sang gospel music while here. I do hope Elvis was saved and I also hope you are too, my friend. John 3:16 KJV John 14:6 KJV
A reporter once asked Elvis for his definition of charisma as he had more of it than anyone else on Earth. He replied, "The definition is in the word itself. Christ within me..."
People like you are so far-gone in your delusions, it's sickening. Religion was only one of his illnesses that got worse over the course of time. Especially during his final three years. It's a mental defect. A cancer. To say that religion is the 'most important thing' is a display of your parasitic way of thinking.
TheSacred55 I think you’re exaggerating a bit there bands like zed lepplin were huge back around 73 , Elvis had his fans but he was no where as important an influence on music of the time than he had been in 1956 ..
It's not R.I.P Elvis Presley. It's Rest In Peace Elvis Aron Presley. Oh and it's not AMAZEING it's AMAZING. I'll cut you some slack because you seem like a true Elvis fan! He is looking down at you from Heaven right now and smiling!
...is funny...the samething you sed here about elvis..some one else sed the samething about....sandro de america...and international singer from argentina..there were only 3 singers in the world who were a like....elvis..tom jones...and....sandro de america...all 3 dance and move on stage like no one else...
What's cool is his entourage wanted him to wrap it up and he couldn't make himself ignore all the rest of the people on that fence that came and waited to see him. He was a good guy. Sad he left so soon, but there was no other way that was going to end.
That entourage was better known as the Memphis mafia ,they kept him wasted on drugs and like you said there was no other way, Elvis did 2 shows a day and they are completely different ,the morning one his eyes are open and he sings amazing, the evening show he's wasted can hardly remember the words his eyes are almost shut, it really is sad to have watched him die in front of the world and he didn't even know it was happening.
If you want to believe it, then fine, generally a star will tell his guys to tell him to wrap it up and he'll carry on for a few more minutes, it's pretty much standard procedure with famous people, the fans think they've been given something more. The way to increase a stars appeal is to make those surrounding them take the rap, look bad, a good manager does the dirty work for the star, if he doesn't want to do something but feels it'll look bad to the fans, a good manager will give the impression it was his fault, the one thing a good manager does is keep his clients image clean and keep the money rolling in
@@alberttatlock5237 or keep him wasted on drugs which they did read up on it, watch his shows. If a entertainer what's to be in the public eye go in public with body guards, Elvis was never in public or extremely little like going out to eat, listen to Mac Davis interviews even stars couldn't get near him. Believe what you want but that is what many have said.
Cliff Johnson - his entourage didn’t keep Elvis wasted, he took all those pills willingly, 72 per day, so don’t blame them! In fact, many tried to get him to stop, but Elvis did what he wanted to do, he killed himself essentially with all those drugs over a period of pill popping. I cried the day he died, I loved him as millions did also - RIP dear E❤️❤️❤️❤️
Interesting to see teens and twentysomethings there. It was said only middle-aged and the elderly listened to him during this time and this is proof he still had a younger audience.
Elvis Forever
Aloha from Hawaii brings back a lot of memories It would be great if they had aloha from Hawaii back on TV We all would like to have aloha from Hawaii back on TV
I can personally assure each of y'all that he did in fact have a relationship with Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour because he's my Cousin...
Por isso, era o Elvis Presley, carisma total, simplicidade total.Sempre dando atenção ao seu público, este é o verdadeiro artista.Muito obrigado pelo vídeo. .
That was hilarious listening to the guy at the very end, saying he was better looking than (I'm assuming) Elvis! I'm sure Elvis probably had to deal with a lot of jealous guys.
