Great stuff man, not sure why your screws were on so tight that you had to heat them up, mine came loose I just had to get a nice grip lol, Keep on rippin!

i use T25 titanium Torx bolts on mine on my motor mount

Mini blow torch they sell at the gas station works perfect on them screws gets them super hot

I just had the same problem you don't want it too tight and you don't want it to lose you want the right play you don't want it to be stiff for me what worked was I stuck the tip of the safety pin and it gave me the perfect mesh because when you set it up and go to tighten it it's going to move you have to play with it

You want to put lock tight so it don't come loose just get a smaller torch

Get the motor mount screws from scorched rc

Those put in with red or blue locker??

I would change the pinion gear just because it's damaged

You should shave your left arm . You might shed into the gear mesh .

I use a Blowtorch 10 seconds
