tell me that thing doesn't rollcage like a rollcage master! landing my bashers on an incline is soo much easier on the shocks and a-arms btw. every break i've ever had was on a flat landing crash. the Backflips will dig into the A-Arms eventually so might want to put some hextenders on them.
@@midwestern_rc yass! Even just the hextenders on it will give it a better stance. I lost most of my recordings a la broken SD card. that's why there isn't much FireTeam footage on my channel right now. 😕
New to the R/C thing here. Saw the crazy videos and had to try. But I'm gonna go ez for now lol. I got the black. Lot of the videos I've watched had good tips but u add a little more detail that I appreciate. U got a new follower!
Yeah trust me man take it slow! Ease into the super fun stuff and enjoy developing the skills and take care of the cars and you will love the hobby! And I really appreciate your feedback man that’s the best part of doing RU-vid 🤝
Appreciate the video. First RC and was looking at Xrt but the 399 sale price had me go Fire Team. Probably going to get a Felony or Infraction next to leverage the battery investment. Video was perfect timing.
The fireteam is an amazing RC in general and very beginner friendly with how durable they are and mod friendly. I wanna get a road car but it’s winter here in the Midwest so I’m gonna wait until spring
I had two bad experiences with with the same lady each time because she said the sand I was driving in was making it hard to breath even though no one else complained and the wind was blowing it the opposite way. But every other experience has been positive and people like the cars.
Great video however the motor doesn’t have a sensor attached to it so it won’t hit thermal cut off the esc will hit thermal and if the esc hits thermal usually that motor is so hot you can burn yourself on it or cook bacon 🥓 on it lol great video bud keep ‘em coming I like how you explain things
I didn’t know that! I’ve burnt myself on a few occasions when other trucks have gone into thermal and I decided to feel the motor (before I bought a temp gun)
Thank you so much for sharing those upgrades and tips… Very useful video and much appreciated!!! Hey, love your two little ramps!!! Lots of fun and quick action with them…Where you get em?? Any link for ramps will be also very much appreciated🤙👍
Thanks for the sub! Yeah it’s kind of out there haha. I’ve sold many of my RC cars lately but I haven’t sold my fireteam. Besides the ESC burning up twice (which was replaced under warranty) nothing has broken
Thanks for the demo and great tips… question…. Are you using only one of the 6800ma batteries, or do you have two connected together? Thanks in advance…. Kindest regards… Ron
They are “kryptonic” ramps. Not sure if they’re still out there or not as I got these ramps off of offer up 2 years ago for 10$. So try fb marketplace or offer up and search skate ramps. You’d be surprised what you may find!
for $400 bucks they are fun around the neighborhood and minimal bashing. ive broken 2 of the steering tie rod ends (wheel side) when hitting a small kicker ramp. and it only comes as a set of all the tie rod ends and body mount, oh ya..... the body sucks and front shock tower bends easy.. i run zee 7000mah 100c and the power and speed is awesome. overall good around the neighborhood vehicle. needs work before ill call it a basher. broken ball cups, a-arm ball has poped out, front shock tower bent. all after about 10 packs... i call this a win, but not entry level...
The Fireteam is our first 6s and we re thoroughly enjoying it so far. Glad I found my way here and thanks for the info guys. Great video for us beginners
@@andrewtexiera2858 I'm learning that Andrew. Im assuming not all parts from all 6s or 8s Arrmas fit the fireteam but is there a safe assumption for a model or is there a model like the Mojave that all parts are interchangeable?
@@gonzodetroitify I'm running a 13t pinion with stock spur on the stock system and I can get 25-35 minutes (I think, never timed it) depending on how hard I push it. It feels like an eternity. Even at full throttle it just keeps going and I haven't had any heat issues in any part of the system of with the batteries on a 13t pinion.
@@phatphlap hey Lake Child so I use those gens ace in. Savage flux xl with Alza centre diff and set lvc to low on a new G2 max8 2250kv combo and get about 30/40 mins so am hoping the same in the fireteam if not more as the system I think is less total power and draw than the combo I’m using now Hopefully tomo I’ll try out the gens ace lipos and see how long I get But I do get what you mean as it feels like an enternity as on the blx 185 combo indeed that it does feel like forever And always then only find out I’m only at 3.6/7 per cell and that system goes into lvc at 3.6🔥and I think I’m at 3.2v lvc on the Hobbywing combo 😂😂😂
What are the motor temps like with the new fans installed? Thinking about getting new fans and was wondering if these ones are worth it? Also is it easy to installed? Love the vids!
@@Tallguysrc dude I get these experiences it’s so weird! Like 1/3 times some random person that you wouldn’t expect to have an interest chats with me and I love talking to them about it
@@midwestern_rc same here luckily enough one had spares from infraction bearing kit😁 only thing I think is too much play from out the box ON the wheels axles in/outwardly Tho shims will do nicely once I find the size
