I purchased the mount for my XLX2. Man what a breeze to install. Did some speed runs today and got kicked out of the mall I usually run at. I always go 2-3 hours before they open but I think a Karen got scared and reported me to the security guard. Oh well I'll hit my second spot tomorrow 😂

This body is exactly what I need for speed runs. I already have the XLX2 mounted on that esc plate, so I was looking for a speed body that would fit the XLX2 like that. It seems like I found it. Thanks again Eearl!

Raz from you tube uses dual lock strip next to regular hook & loop velcro because 1 is strong horizontally and the other vertically. I tried and it works really well
Hey Earl. Another good one. I saved it. I have the XLX2 on the the way for my TRAXXAS X01. I was about to order the X 8S, but with the XLX2 out there, I went for it. That plate looks very interesting. I won’t know exactly what I am up against until the ESC gets to me. I took a closer look at the plate through your link & dropped a note. Thats going to be a Mega beast earl. That ecs is sick,16s? How long has that been available. Gota love Castle Creations! You should put the esc you took out of that truck and put it in your Traxxas Hoss and run it on 4s ,it works well with the motor and makes it way more interesting. I'm looking forward to you getting this truck running. What a beast it'll be.
Hey question for ya brother.... Where can we get a good cooling system for our giant motors?? I got atm a 4076 big block 2200kv in one of my arrma Granite megas that I converted. But I'm having trouble finding decent cooling fans for the big block motors. All I see is for small block 3660s and random 36 diameter can motors but nothing really for the 40mm big motors. I mean I really honestly don't need it cause the motor doesn't even get hot it just gets warm like luke warm water. It's only on 3s power atm 70+ mph it's getting hard to handle at speed because the stock Dboots pancake real good 😂. But I do got some new super swampers coming for it and a couple diff street tires that are belted for speed runs. Fastest iv had it as 72.9 mph and I don't think it was fully maxed because i ran out of room I don't got alot of straight road because I live in the appalachian mountains in Western North Carolina roads are pretty curvy lol. But later on I'll take it somewhere safe to really get into it and I do got a max 8 esc combo but I'm gonna stay with the motor I got now in it 40mm diameter seems to be the fattest motor can it'll fit I could be wrong and a 42 may fit but I don't wanna try it nor modify it to fit it. I got the integy aluminum motor and spur module and all the aluminum upgrades and a ton of spar plastics and more integy incase of bad accidents with it. I'm still using the stock radio and keep it on 50% because 75% and 100% it's insane even at 50% it wants to do back flips going down the road and at 75% doing 40mph up to around 50mph if I gun it it'll wheelie and flip and at 100% at 50mph + I floor it it'll jump back n flip on its top. So I got a ton of torque lol. N putting the integy wheelie bar on it to try to keep it's front wheels down. But I deff wanna build the world's fastest Arrma Granite mega v3 lol. But when I go to 6s and possibly 8s for the extreme speed runs I deff wanna fan blowing on that motor for sure. But on 3s a 50c 5200 3s Ovonic doesn't even faze it and it's currently on a hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 esc and iv even tuned it down with the card the punch is down ect and it's still a wild truck lol
Earl.... I’m surprised you didn’t put the half cut dual lock the whole length of the plate to complete full coverage of the esc,,,,just an observation,,,🇺🇸👈
