I think people underestimate the 8S ability. Think 32 pounds at 52 mph, is pretty awesome Out of the Box! Be using my christmas bonus on this RC this year, with a FEW upgrades, nothing insane!
Perfect video for those who just want to know how this beast performs on the grass and at the park. There aren’t many videos showing this. I am only interested in doing some flat ground racing around the park and I don’t see the point in jumping these off building high jumps. Nice vid. Ordered one got it yesterday blew out the center diff in the first 3 mins of running. No bashing no wide open throttle just getting the feel for the machine. Bummer Horizon agreed to take it back.
That's an awesome truck, I have the old Outcast 8s EXB roller and i might put the same power system that's in the V2's in my truck so i can do a stock comparison with my X-Maxx and decide which truck i love more and which i'll keep or i'll keep both and modify them when i feel they need more power or upgrades. Keep up the great content.
Very cool and great info. I just picked up one of these rigs a few days ago used. Kind of a weird story with either the owner or the owners buddy drove it at one point and put it away wet….needless to say after 2 years of sitting everything metal was rusted up including the bearings. The rig WOULD NOT roll at all. I only gave $200 for it but it has to be completely gone through. Not a lot of money for bearings but very labor intensive……but this way I’ll get familiar with the rig and maybe do a couple mods to it while apart. Can’t wait to get it done and take it out for a rip!
Arrma did an amazing job with the 8s exb v2 line up have both the Kraton is the king imo it’s a beast I have it on 30/39 gearing on 6s and it still is a beast I. Even did a back flip on it lol I did ear plug it though and max punch but point is this thing is durable and the arrma 8s line gets a lot of bad rep ppl need to wake up to the arrma 8s line Traxxas xmaxx is great but does not compare to a outcast or Kraton 8s exb especially for the price
Yeah, I dont abuse my RCs either, no street runs where there are curbs, and no TREES or the WIFE LMAO. Wide open areas only, have yet to break anything this year.
What was the purpose of recalibrating the throttle speed? Is it not set to full throttle out of the box? Just got one of these today and cannot wait to set it up!
For a person Who is planning to purchase between New Outcast 8s v2, New v2 Arrma K8s,XRT and Xmaxx. Which one would you recommend? Considering durability and fun factor?
