Like #223 man this was tuff to watch but it's all part of the game at least you didn't crash in to some ones car instead thank God time to rebuild keep doing what you do 👊🏽
They really need to make GPS sensors for speed testing that'll help keep the car within those limits. It's trying to keep something that small going straight is extremely difficult.
Signs and Trees magically pull RC cars toward them. Sometimes you even make a mental note and 5 minutes later you can do nothing to avoid it lol, Sorry for you loss man, I hope you found incrediible deals on all the replacement gear man.
I feel your pain bro, had a nasty crash with mine about a month ago. It hit the "only" small piece of curb on the road, then flew & hit the pole behind & then bounced off it across the road & hit one of them large electric utility service box on the road side!! All of this & it was only at 76mhp. Car just missed me too!! Car lost control right before the midpoint of the run. When she hit the pole, I literally saw an explosion 💥 of parts just fly in every direction. Definitely the worst crash I have ever had lol. But, I got her all back together & just upgraded the MMX8S to the XLX2.
Wow.. that's a big one, always hurt to watch and i'm sure always bring bad memories to every Speedruner watching it, I hate when this happens but it's part of the game brother, sorry to see it, you'll be out in no time with new pb's!
That's what she said ! Lol. Yeah, this one hurt. This is most damage I've had on a car. But ,It's all part of speed running. Hope your doing well brother.
Just re watched this….and to think i just got back into the hobby 1 years ago and I thought 88mph was fast and 100mph was my goal…wow. Keep sharing past 230mph.
Look I know that sucks ...but that sounded amazing flying by then boom. At least you got something to do this weekend .pick up parts a little duck tape she's good to go.
So I ran the numbers through a ballistics calculator and... You may need to sit down for this... It's over 6000 ft/lbs of energy at impact. To put some perspective on that, a .338 Lapua is around 5,200 ft/lbs... SCARY
Yooooo that sounded crucial. Couldn't quite see to well from the video but did it get airborne and hit a sign post? No worries salvage what you can and keep in rolling.
@@theetonster sounded like it was scrapping the ground for a few seconds. But thanks for showing the good, bad and ugly. People need to see stuff like this. And know it can happen to anyone. Kudos
When the motor has an out of body experience, you know that was bad. Some missing parts are possibly located on the moon others in parallel dimension where the smoke and the fire went
@@theetonster I have watched lots of speed run videos and builds and I've come to the conclusion that adding a gyro system and driving fpv are a great solution to reaching higher speeds safely
Blew one apart on the fence they put up on my road at the end of last season, 151mph completely destroyed, I got the receiver and gps out of it , everything else was destroyed.
Holy crap my brothers rc car did the same thing but way worse the car rolled over hit a sign split in half and caught on fire luckily we put it out before it got worse anyway I’m sorry bro I hope you get that beast fixed
