I've never seen anything like this and it touched my heart and my soul. I'm proud to be an American. God bless each and everyone of you for doing something this spectacular and patriotic, and God bless America ❤🤍💙
Pretty cool. So glad that, as a taxpayer, I didn't have to pay for a flyover. Do it on your own dime, otherwise it's just needless propaganda. Semper Vigilans.
David Bray, thank you for your Service to our country and for being part of an incredible patriotic event! This fly over gave me chills, so precise and beautiful. God bless you sir🇺🇸🙏🏼
As a guy who has 5,000+ hours of jet fighter time, and hundreds of hours leading/flying formation in all kinds of weather and light and darkness, my hat is off to these wonderful, talented private pilots. Trust me, the dudes in the muddle of this “pack” had a huge responsibility to be smooth for those outside of them. Great formation, great flag waving, and great patriotism. Well done‼️
I didn't know what I would feel about the little planes in formation...- but I felt a tear coming on the moment I saw them and humble pride - Great job guys!
I love it how at the moment he sings "free" in the phrase "land of the free," @ 1:03 the planes sparkle as they reflect the sunlight. I got goosebumps.
2 year anniversary of the Pink flight of 49 Vans aircraft- I was in the back of the "arrowhead" shape. KC Flight hosted pilots from all over the country. Great hosts, great cause, great City, great Game! Cheers
The Backstory to this event: One of the best flyovers!!! The Chiefs were playing the Raiders. AND our, at the time, President Obama, who had PREVIOUSLY eliminated patrioticmilitary flyovers at large events. A group of guys in Kansas City who do some formation flying in their own planes, decided they'd volunteer to SAVE this tradition and pick up the slack. They invited a couple of other groups to join them and before they knew it, they had 48 guys with their own airplanes signing up to join in. If they had more time, they probably would have gotten an even larger group as people kept joining and a 49th was added near the event. Turn speakers up. Watch at 'full screen'.... pretty impressive and it makes you proud to be an American.
To be fair, Obama didn’t eliminate the flyovers - Congress did. They failed to pass a series of budgets forcing “sequestration”, which by law blocked ALL discretionary spending in 2013, including military flyovers. The flyovers were reinstated before the end of his term. Regardless, that “private” flyover was a thing of beauty 😊
One e-mail going around says these are RADIO CONTROLLED models flying over! Well, that would be impossible. Getting 3 RC planes in a formation without a mid air would be a real trick. Putting 49 FULL SCLAE pilots and PLANES together without a mid air is a serious tribute to many hours of pre-flight planning and briefings.
What an impressive display of the American Spirit! Shows how much we can do when we pull together as a team.. Thanks to all those that flew and double thanks to all those that put the flight together! We are strong as a nation - maybe we should vote those in DC out!
Thank you, to all these wonderful patriots who demonstrated by example, why we are the greatest nation on the planet. Current and would be bullies don’t stand a chance. Tear in my eye and pride spilling over. 😊🇺🇸 WOW
Absolutely wonderful. I'm proud to share citizenship in this country with these pilots. I wish I could feel that way about the jerks in the administration.
I just saw this video March 2023….I am humbled that so many years have passed and still Americans are posting with pride in our USA veterans. Thank you to everyone who organized this flyover. I am hopeful that our younger generation can keep this honor, duty and pride continuing. God Bless America.
Very cool. I haven't been to a game in way too long. Hope to be going this upcoming season. I miss that stadium. The atmosphere is like no other venue I have ever been to. GO CHIEFS! Red Kingdom for life!!
Closest "goose bump moment" to this was at the Daytona 500 in the early 80's when over 40 cars were side by side and nose to tail with the pedal to the metal, engines literally screaming as they headed for the first turn just after our National Anthem. BUT THIS produced a more exciting and patriotic moment in a video. Wish I could have been there ! The heart of our country is strong,......the heart of our government is in distress. Thanks to everyone that had a part in producing this moment. Those that were in attendance will remember if for the rest of their lives.
@@kcflight823 - nine years later and I am still loving this. Perhaps now even more than nine years ago. Patriotism isn't quite dead just yet. America, Praise God again! And may God Bless America again!!
It's good to see and hear people who are proud of this country. I don't understand why so many are not. Embarrassed by the people currently "running" our government, I can certainly understand. But the PEOPLE of this country are great! My hat is off and my hand is over my heart to everyone who had something to do with this.
America the beautiful! How welcome it is to see citizens stand up and support our country! Great job, it is a tear jerker. Those planes were heavenly. Thank all the parties who achieved such a mission!
When one sees this, one has hope again, that this wonderful country and its patriotic men and women will one day be appreciated as they should be. Thank you!!!!!
I am a retired pilot although would of loved to be the 50th. one. Ha! Here is hoping that these people get organized and do a 100 plane flyover next year.
Great video! It took a lot of planning, coordination and skill to pull this off. Regarding the thumbs down; my only complaint would be that the planes only flew over once and they came in too high.
Well done good and Faithful Americans and you as well, the people of Kansas City and those pilots who preformed a fine spirit of Freedom -God bless America!
As a former Vietnam helicopter rescue AIRCREWMAN ,this display of unity brought tears to my eyes.. someone should see that BIDEN SEES THIS AND THAT WE HAVE UNITY
Amen, Old Dog, Amen!! And thank YOU for your service. I came of age as Vietnam was winding down and never served, but I have ALWAYS had the utmost respect and appreciation for those who did. Helicopter rescues were extremely dangerous and required unfathomable bravery. This video moved me to tears too and I've watched it at least five times now! Thank you and God Bless you ... _and our nation_ ... again!
Unamerican? Like blaming America while defending Vladimir Putin? chicago.suntimes.com/opinion/editorial-why-does-trump-run-down-america-in-defense-of-putin/
Flyovers have ZERO relevance to the game. It's propaganda. Better suited to the 4th of July or other politically inspired events. At least they kept it in the private sector and the taxpayers didn't have to pay for it. GPG.
To Marinus Vesseur--I hope after two weeks of posting your question about us of the USA singing our National Anthem at sporting events, please search in your favorite browser "Origin of National Anthem at Sporting Events" and you will see how this one very constant action on the part of our sporting events came about. And please read the entire long explanation because it really has a much deeper meaning than most people would think to be so.
