I am making the 2nd prototype now and i got a 7x more powerful motor and it is geared 2x lower so ill hopefully be able lift about 15kg. I hope to have a video of that up soon
I am not sure if you have quite understood the concept of an exercise machine. Yes it is satisfying watching it doing the curl reps for you, but, you are not going to have your bikini figure by summer at this rate :) The internet is going to watch this and go...cool, that only took 5 minutes, can you make me one as well? I hate to think of the number of hours in design, CAD modelling, tool path creation, machining, and editing. Good one.
hahah, Thanks! I told the wife I was going to drop water balloons on her with this once its done. And tell me about it. It was just over 2 hrs of raw Machining footage I had to go threw. I'm designing the next version now with the target of about 25kg of lifting oomf
