5:44 Guess Karax put back the self destruct system on Tychus' CMC suit after discovering the Terran-made Solarite battery installed on it was a disappointment.
Tychus: "We had a deal, Mengsk..." Arcturus: "Indeed, and the deal was for _you_ to kill Kerrigan, not the Protoss. Now, y'all have a good day now. The universe is a better place now that *I* have rid the Dominion of the Queen of Blades." Artanis: "This is a treachery most foul."
Kerrigan: This has gone on long enough! Time to die. Karax: No. I will leave that to you. Kerrigan: You will pay for this treachery! Talandar: That's ironic. I can remember Fenix sending you a very similar message on Korhal. Mengsk: I got your message, Hierarch, and frankly, I don't care what you have to to say about the Khala's Law. You damn aliens are all alike, don't know where your loyalties lie. Y'all have a real good day now, y'hear?
I think he always knew that, deep down. That's why he delayed so long in the finale. He always knew that no matter how it ends, it would be the final ride for Tychus Findlay.
That’s mostly just in how absurd the SOA stuff is compared to Wings of Liberty. Time stop especially trivializes everything about the Kerrigan attacks.
@@charliemallonee2792 pretty much. Time Stop’s cooldown is done at every Kerrigan attack except for the last time. All you need to do is pop TS, send Destroyers or Void Rays, and she’s done for.
I know it's just a game campaign and all that but I still wonder how Kerrigan in the last mission of Brood War was actually able to withstand all three fleets. You had the entirety of the Protoss armada, the entirety of the Kel Morian Combine and other 'special interest groups' and Sons of Korhal/Dominion forces under Mengsk, and finally the (partial) might of the remaining UED fleet along with the remainder of the Dylarian fleet they had captured, and Kerrigan starts with a tiny base in the center with barely any forces. Obviously it's meant to be an extremely hard final mission to beat for the player, but if that was all the force Kerrigan actually had (with OR without herself as a hero unit) they could have all just sent everything instead of small increasingly powerful waves of forces one at a time and wiped her out right then like in all these fan meme campaigns LMAO
Screw Activision for screwing us out of dropping Fenix right on Kerrigan by making her a good guy. Seriously, these memes have been going for years and missed opportunities still appear left and right Also, how do you guys think Raynor would react on Fenix/Talandar?
Well he's too busy disappearing with Jean Grey-- I mean Phoenix-- I mean Zerg Waifu-- I mean Mary Sue-- I mean Kerrigan. Realistically, it's another issue with LotV in general that they didn't have more character moments like that. The story focused too much on the protoss, to where the rest of the universe was irrelevant. What was the Dominion doing after HotS? How chaotic was Valerian's succession, especially since he legitimized Jim Raynor? Where did Moebius get so many recruits? What the hell are the Kel-Morians and Umojians doing? How did Kerrigan go from controlling the entire Swarm to suddenly claiming her forces were 'depleted'? HotS was too focused on Kerrigan vs Mengsk just as LotV was too focused on Artanis vs Amon. There was nothing else in between, and because of that we'll never get a proper Raynor/Talandar scene, or even Talandar having an awkward moment where they say "oh yeah, that bug lady... she killed you."
Amon: "Fools, there was one among you who could have-" Artanis: "Karax, the Xel'Naga's metabolism is based almost entirely on Solarite! Too bad it's only Ouros and Amon left..." Karax: *goes on a very enthusiastic walk*
@@ExecutorNral Something something Overmind programming fighting Amon programming something something Sarah fighting from within something something no plothole. You know what, I'd have actually preferred if they had gone into an utterly insane path, like having Tassadar and the Overmind having accidentally merged into a Xel'Naga and coming back to save the day at the last second, than the Kerrigan redemption Sue arc. ... Fuck that'd actually be a better storyline. Having the Zerg campaign be a desperate attempt by Sarah to NOT turn into a Zerg again (while still going after Mengsk) by trying to resurrect a Cerebrate and accidentally resurrecting the Overmind/Tassadar instead who can oppose Amon's control of the Swarm as a full Xel'Naga. Then the Protoss Campaign becomes a desperate rush by Artanis and Zeratul to find ways to strengthen Tassadar's part of the Xel'Naga while weakening Amon, trying to prevent either Amon or the Overmind part gaining access to the Khala and the massive amount of psionic energy it represents. And since this would be with a fully human Sarah Kerrigan, you could have a full redemption arc that doesn't absolve her of all her crimes as the Queen of Blades because "she needs to embrace being a Zerg!". And the Protoss Campaign would be able to feature the full might of the Protoss/Golden Armada in all missions by having your opposition being essentially 50% of the entire Swarm, the Hybrids and Duran's Möbius Corps operating in concert at all times. So Artanis still needs to gather the strength of the other sects of Protoss to add tactical flexibility (and prevent other sects from being subverted by Amon). And it gets us both of the actual most powerful psionic characters of SC1 back too.
should have ended at the part after kerrigan says she's not the enemy and get charged by artanis. that cut would have been perfect. it made the whole thing look legit.
Question executor, did you skip the WoL Protoss missions on purpose or did you forget/weren’t able to play them since I was really hoping to see you play WoL Protoss edition,Terran edition since playing through the Zeratul missions as Terran characters is really fun
@@ExecutorNral I looked through the playlist in the description and I can’t find you playing them, for reference I mean the 4 missions you get from the Crystal in the normal campaign. If I’m missing something then that’s on me On a similar note will you play the other side of the split missions like ghost of a chance, Safe haven and shatter the sky Or will you leave those alone?
@@thomas4640 Ah you mean the protoss missions on terran campaign. I couldnt find the edited versions of them. Also I will skip the alternative missions. There are some other campaigns I wanna share before my enlistment.
Antioch Remastered Episode 3. Its a great campaign that I would like to share. Maybe after that I might return to making memes only, depending on the demand.
and thus the universe falls to amon, due to kerrigan dying, there was no one there to be reborn as a xel naga and amon took control of the zerg, leaving the terrans to die and the protoss soon after. later for the next few thousand+ years amon destroyed everything that he couldn't make into hybrid and soon the infinite cycle had ended. for if only they had known that kerrigan was their only hope....
Except even in the LotV timeline, the Protoss wreck Amon's physical body with regular orbital bombardment. It sickens me to even acknowledge the existence of the Epilogue with its anime-level plotline, but I think they could harness Ouros' power somehow, seeing as entities like Ulrezaj exist.
@@rockno Ulrezaj was an extremely powerful Dark Archon formed of seven Dark Templar. He was responsible for setting in motion a plan to genetically empower a Zerg brood under his control with a Khaydarin crystal to be immune to the effects of Xel’naga temple, and corrupting a group of Protoss on Aiur to do his bidding, which he used to create beings of immense psionic power(possibly hybrids).
From watching this series I'd say the spear of adun abilities are too op, especially for missions that were not designed for them. It would have been cool if these maps replicated the terran WOL campaign stuff, like mercenaries instead.
@@danilshcherbakov2126 oh yeah for sure I agree. but this dude is following a different book. to him showing the protoss and more specifically artanis as anything other than the absolute strongest OP things/person ever is blasphemous
God dammit, the writing is terrible. "I have seen this tactics before." As if troop drops was something Kerrigan invented and used sparingly like the most powerful superweapon... Or as if Artanis were such a simpleton.
I think it makes sense in context, on the mission of defending the xel naga temple in legacy of the void, when he is informing even younger Vorazun (Also I ship it Artanis X Vorazun, Artzun? Vornis?) of it, who does seem unaware of that tactic.
