Idk if it’s just me or have they actually patched it? I used to hit threes all the time on my first playthough which I played when the game released, I recently started my second playthrough and I don’t seem to hit them like at all, it looks like horse is avoiding them

EVERYONE! Easy fix for that! Just let go of the left analogue stick and keep X or A pressed. Your horse 🐴 is actually smater than you think. It will avoid the trees.

bullsheet88 People wear black when they are mourning the dead. Mrs Downes would be literally and figuratively ‘in black’ because she’s mourning Thomas Downes. Arthur would therefore kill Archie and keep her in black/in mourning.

High honor Arthur makes no sense, atleast it didn't make sense in the beta version since they wanted to make Arthur angry and cold due to his childs death wich was planned for chapter 1. But they cut that and made Arthur record high honor lines for the vast audience who won't play as the outlaw killer but as a honorable outlaw.

also how much more alive the world is compared 2 those games. in terms of dialogue last of us and witcher 3 have some of the best dialogue along with red dead 2. you really don't see good dialogue in games.

The realization of his oncoming death was what inspired Arthur to change. He likely wouldn't have without it.

I don't think he wanted to kill the kid, he was just striking fear in the kid. He does realize what he does is wrong, at this point in the game he's still aggressive but he still helps people out, before Chapter 6 he was starting to realize that Dutch is going off the hook, he always knew since Chapter 1 but never wanted to admit it, inside I believe he hates the things he's doing and doesn't like killing people due to his conversation with Micah, so by canon, he doesn't kill people unless he's forced to, for the gang, or self-defense.

Well he does save the kids life and beat up his bully so you win some you lose some

@@Vanerov But he does rob and beat up people. Yeah he doesn't enjoy it, but it is known for him to rob and shoot people for the gang. Sure it's for what he perceives as a good cause, and he clearly doesn't enjoy necessary killing, but Arthur is a hardened outlaw and at this point in time just sees killing as a job. He likely wouldn't have killed the kid, but the fact that he threatened him so casually just for looking at him shows that he isn't at that point yet where he realizes what he's doing is useless and only causes harm.

You are supposed to obtain redemption by the end of the game. Arthur does not obtain redemption or change after he gets tuberculosis so the bad ending isn’t the real ending. Arthur’s reactions to people even when you got good honor aren’t necessarily bad, but he isn’t supposed to turn into some goody hero and be nice to people. He’s still an outlaw at the end of the day.

@@seionmcgriff2447 tf ofc he changes after he contracts tuberculosis. He uses that as motivation to save John and his family at the end of the game. He becomes more open to people about his life. While he is becoming physically weaker but at the same time becoming mentally stronger. He was a bandit in the beginning but he certainly died a heroes death.

Joe on the boat I was telling him why the bad ending is not canon. I’m not saying he isn’t supposed to obtain redemption. I said the bad ending depicts him basically turning his back on john and not helping him which is not an accurate representation of how he’s supposed to go about it.

Tbf high honor Arthur still has scenes like this. I mean, low honor Arthur also has some “good” moments and scenes. There actually isn’t that much difference between the two. High honor is just a bit more selfless and helpful to folk whereas low honor is more jaded and tired of everything. I noticed in my low honor playthrough that Arthur never really accepts his death. He’s still in the last few missions talking about going out west and seeing if he can shake his cough. Charles in the epilogue even says “hope was about all he had”. Whereas the high honor Arthur is more accepting of his fate and embraces the “do a good deed” thing the nun encourages.

I think it's more like he's arrogant and confident. He knows he can kill this kid, or at least he's pretty sure he can, but he's also giving him the warning that even if he succeeded, it wouldn't make him happy in any way.

Looking sullenly at the guy who beat up and extorted your dying father isn't really "picking a fight", you know. Much more likely that Arthur knows what a monster he's being, and it's _him_ who's trying to pick a fight to vent.

Dude you guys who think that are just weird. Sure you are probably good people in real life, but this game is about outlaws, killers, stealing, robbing, killing and robbing innocent people etc. Arthur is the lowest of the low he is not supposed to be kind or teach lessons, he just kills, steals and robs.
