I love how in the video the crew of Ant's show start laughing louder and louder at Artie's jabs at John, because they all hate John for what a disrespectful jerk-off he's being.

I completely agree with you! Artie seems to be the big, lovable, goofy guy with a genuinely awesome personality, super quick wit, and he is a master comedian. Unfortunately a demon is tightly riding on his back. When Artie keeps his demon in check we cheer for him. We cheer even louder when the dastardly little Imp has taken the wheel. I don't even have to see John. All I have to do is hear his voice. And that vulgar, lackadaisical, genuinely ignorant and just plain foul accent he speaks with coupled with the fact that he has the mental acuity of a turnip literally turns my stomach. John is an oddity. He is a living, breathing, oxygen thieving stereotype. He literally checks every single box. Including refusing to accept the fact that he is an idiot. The worst kind of moron is the one that firmly believes he has a plethora of intelligence. He is a greasy, filthy, watery, foul smelling shart stain on the boxer shorts of humanity. He is the reason the phrase "A turd that won't flush" was coined. He just keeps popping back up.
That episode is nothing compared to how John has completely made an ass of himself going on anybody else's show. He is a drunken disaster anywhere he goes.

I remember watching this live and OMG it was hilarious to watch Anthony just snipe John over and over and over. I distinctly remember John came on one time and Ant made a joke how he parked right up front at Johns gig one time because there was so much parking💀
4:59 Literally 5 minutes in John is turning into a belligerent drunk flicking bottle caps at Anthony, the owner and host of the show. And he thinks in his head he’s being funny. Disgusting. 9:05 John’s body language changes immediately when he gets roasted by Artie. 14:20 ant just makes a sarcastic comment and John just goes to 11.
The only thing that has changed in regards to John since the Howard days is his waistline and someome that can actually make him funny. Even during the Stern years he was notorious for dishing it out but not being able to take it. When Chuck Roast fired him from his ridiculous radio gig that was given to him to quell his constant requests for more money, he reacted like a child that got a toy taken away. He is the epitome of king baby - pure arrested development. The worst thing that ever happened to him was a hint of fame - then he got the idea he actually had talent. Kinda sad when you really break it down. But he's so unlikable, the sadness dissipates.
He's so gross.. Even if you knew nothing about John, he's instantly hateable on sight. That gross cough-laugh he does whenever he says anything he thinks is funny. He's incapable of taking a joke, claims everything is off limits or unfair, yet he's devoid of self-awareness, so he goes straight to things he's supposed to keep to himself. Artie sized John up perfectly on his own podcast (before this episode aired), when John gets outwitted he lashes out like a cornered rat and becomes nasty. I can't imagine what the cellar crowd would have done to him at the table. He'd probably show up with a gun and try to murder everyone afterwards
This is great show guys. By the way you guys should do a episode on how Opie and John are a like. Opie used Anthony's comedy and made millions. John used Howard Artie and Jay and made a million maybe 2. Opie was more talented as a DJ and a con man. Opie was able to keep his con going by using other comics like Jim Norton and a couple others. Until he let his hobby of watching people shit and videoing it got him fired
Carl Hamburger hates John so much he’s overlooking Artie’s collapsing facial structure, and perpetually swollen and bleeding nose. Then Artie “goes to the bathroom”. And no mention of what he’s likely doing. You have two sources of material here but artie is spared.

Why is Jhon so mad and taking everything so serious? This could’ve been a great podcast if he would’ve just had fun… and all his insults to Artie were atleast two decades old bcuz that’s the last time he was on Howard.
John has referenced that artie used to imitate using a crowbar when John would try to ‘crowbar’ jokes in on the stern show so I think that’s johns poor attempt at doing it
