The Goya piece was AWESOME. People criticized him for the same reason. It's supposed to be cold and saturated.

Katy's tattoo was actually great, and captured Goya's feel.

I actually like Katie’s Goya inspired tattoo. The painting: Saturn devouring his son, is a very dark painting that was painted by a man in his last dying days and this shows the sadness he felt after living longer than almost all of his children while he dies slowly. The painting isn’t supposed to make you feel good and it was a very immature run down by the judges overall. And my biggest complaint is that Katie’s tattoo embodies the painting and goyas overall style really well. It does have a very painterly look even in the black background. I think the judges on this show always nitpick and put their own personal biases into the judging. That clip once again proved how rigged this garbage fire show is.

I think their judgement on Katie's Goya tat was messed up. She did a great tattoo. Yeah, it was gross and ugly, but it was supposed to be. Goya didn't paint bright happy pictures, they were gross and dark, and she captured that.

Honestly, how can these artists be expected to replicate a famous painting EXACTLY?!?! That's not really fair.

I personally liked Katy's last tattoo I mean that was the artist style also Katy looks amazing and beautiful

Everytime Dave appears on the screen the artists hate him, but "that is not all" makes me love him more

Katie's Goya was...amazing and like...why do these judges ask for fine and high art when it clearly does not suit their tastes??? talk about lowbrow lol.

Katie absolutely nailed it with her Goya inspired tattoo! Something tells me that the painting wasn't intended to be a "happy go lucky" painting to begin with so of course the tattoo doesn't give you that kind of feeling either!

I haven't watched this show for while and comic back to it the judges biases are so clear. It's Irritating.

Season 14 was the best season ever on inkmaster . Season 15 can’t get here fast enough. Season 14 with past champions along with talented past contestants was great . It would be great to see season of all the champions battle it out. DJ is hard to beat while in competition but it would be great to see other past champions battle it out

The capybara Holli did was great in season 12. In season 14, she tried but in my opinion she should’ve been sent home over Hiram. It was well done but it did have anatomical problems and it wasn’t as “pretty” as Hiram’s was. And I love Katie, but she did have the worst tattoo in season 6. I would never see it and think “Water Lilies.” It looks like crayons melted on her side. Her second one with Matt was really good though, but her fine art painting in season 14 was a lot worse than Deanna’s but in a way I was glad she stayed longer because she showed some great work later on.

That Katie tattoo looked like a melting blob down that girls side.
