At first glance, Craig seems a bit grumpy, but now that I watch it regularily, it just feels like it's a total act. He actually seems like a very nice and funny guy and like someone who doesn't take himself too serious. He just has the role of the "very strict" judge. I really grow to like him! :D
Mangan2504 same. I absolutely love Craig. He is my favourite judge as he had such a hard past and he is such a lovely, kind person. The nastiness and moodiness is just an act. Inside he is really nice, I think the same as you that he is just acting and very convincingly. Also, in an interview, Darcey once said he hates being the mean judge. That's why he is my favourite! :)
Craig is my favourite judge! I think Craig is always spot on with his comments and marks. It may seem harsh but how are the celebs meant to get any better if they're not given any criticism? The other judges tell the celebs how well they've done but give a 7.. it doesn't make sense. Surely if you're not going to give any critiques it would be a 10? I also think that the other judges give the same marks all the time and there would be 10 couples with the exact same score if Craig wasn't there.
JaneMcQ100 I agree 100% with you. And it would also be boring cos Craig disagrees sometimes with the high scores that Bruno, Shirley and Darcey give... If it wasn't for him, you're right, it would be very boring.
Oh. My. God. That impression of Bruno Tonioli! I literally did not stop laughing for about 20 minutes after! The funniest thing I've ever watched! And the falling off the chair... My life is complete!
Oh my god, this was too funny and I still watch it 2 years later! I remember almost falling off my sofa laughing at Craig's Bruno imitation! I do feel rather sorry for Darcey though. Craig did seem to get into her personal space quite a big in his action. It still humours me the way she just sorta pushed him down and brushed it all away when he fell.
Jonnie Peacock is outstanding. And I loved how head judge comment of "you put a new meaning to spring in the step" when Jonnie retorted "scuse the pun" sadly this wasn't shown above
