Yeah that was the one that really effected me as well... I love that the creators of that show threw in those little Easter eggs for the critters, and allowed Ashley to role play herself in such a fun way.

Seriously tho. She was also working on The Last Of Us Part 2 most of the time. She was really busy. And even tho she must've been exhausted she did her best to try and come on CR as much as possible.

Yeah, she had lots of work to do in that period. Matt included that amazingly in the story, though. Spoilers ahead for season 2 Her being mind controlled again by her Obann lead the Mighty Nein to what is probably the best arc (imo) in s2. I'd give Lorenzo and Avantika more credit, but they didn't have the same feel. The former was introduced and killed in the span of 3-4 episodes, and the most interesting thing about him is that he is the reason for Caduceus and (indirectly) the current arc. The latter was less of an enemy, and more of an NPC they were waiting for the right moment to kill. No one ever hated her, and she was never a big deal to defeat. I mean, they managed to destroy all of her crew while they weren't even trying to fight, and half the party was running away. Maybe her now being a revenant will spice up the things, but I think she will simply die in the first fight. This was way more complex. It was like everything since the first mission was tied to it. They had to study the enemy, research, try to fight them a number of times, find the ingredients to forge a new magical weapon to destroy them (Fjord even got a new pact), then weaken his allies by destroying the permaheart. Then look for his next move, anticipate it, and defeat him. It was the villain whose death was more appealing. After that point most enemies were easily defeated or avoided.

@@giorgiomauceri410 And Yasha is still dealing with the aftermath to this day. She is FINALLY showing signs of recovery. I did like how, in Campaign 1, Pike first left to work on a project that was near and dear to her heart, that was part of her calling as a Cleric of the Everlight, which was true for Ashely too - she couldn't join the group because she was working her day job.

I was thinking what they should do is have an episode where they make a bet with Ashley's character, where if Ashley wins they have to join in a D&D session with her. Ashley's character wins and at the end of the episode they play the session with all of CR cast making cameos.

That was one of Sam's ads. She was reading her lines from the paper in front of her, written by Sam. That's the joke, and yes it's pretty funny, and delivered pretty well. (The delivery does sound like she's reading it, though; they don't rehearse Sam's ads.) As far as her improv skills, her "diabetis" punchline was one of the best lines in CR history, so funny and so out of the blue. And the first time I clued in to her comedic talents: it was the near the end of the first arc of C1 where she'd been able to attend regularly, and was getting comfortable enough at the table to let loose with some jokes, as well as step into the spotlight for the arc with Pike's family.
