AKG is the only band that has ever made me listen to their songs without putting them in the backround. I open them up wanting to play a game and listen to nice music and I end up staring blankly into somewhere just enjoying the gorgeous sounds.
For me the video means in a few words "being yourself". In the cameras, images of all kinds of denigrations and questionable acts are captured, very common in our daily lives. But when "someone" or "something" different appears, even the most malicious people freak out. Even the cameras are scared to the point of censoring that "something" so radical, turning that "someone" into a kind of anonymous hero, misunderstood and recognized by few. This interpretation of the video can be supported a bit more by paying attention to some lines in the song. "I don't want to lose myself [...] don't forget me". In short, the concept of the video seems me very brilliant and so clever. The song is also very good.
At this point when this song was released, they were Japanese Pinkerton-era Weezer. But they've extended from that ever since, without becoming way-too-poppy like recent Weezer
One of the greatest bands of all time they paved the way for alot of music in anime and the reason why this music is soo big today. They deserve more recognition than that it's just a shame their music never really leaves Japan unless its in the form of anime

This is the first song I heard from them. Found it in my brother's nokia brickfone. I didn't know who was the singer then. Loved how the chorus sounds reassuring to me, somehow, even if I didn't understand the lyrics.
Used to listen that song all day long when i was 14 ( im almost 30 now ) and it just poped out in my head now. Its brings a lot of nostalgia. Such a great song.

I wish Ajikan comes to Seattle. After Luna Sea (my first Jrock band) I discovered Ajikan by listening to music at Kinokuniya. Now they don't let you listen to music there or they only have anime music. I miss those days.
such a cool video, shows the progression of a story in different parts tbh im not entirely sure i understand what the video itself means, at first its showing clips of various events, some about sex, violence, daily life,etc, usually something is wrong, (in the robbery and what i assume is a gang fight, someone fights back against the problem), then the person (censored) comes in and disrupts whatever is happening and everyone goes ape shit so what makes me wonder is if each of these scenes are planned actors/consented footage, since i feel like its kinda hard to have a guy interrupt all of them, since you dont know when stuff like a robbery takes place lol. nah man it has to be planned right? idk, if anyone knows what the video means, please do tell me lol. edit: i also really LOVE how they show shots of the places before and after what happened, where theres no people/etc, but you know shit still happened. idk its very interesting lol.
