And then Eugene kinda gets a bit defensive and usually says stuff like, "how come you've never told me that before?" But when you see Eugene and his mother together, they're very close. Like he hugged her, kissed her and held her hand through the video. He clearly loves her very much. I'm sure he loves his father just as much too- I would never deny something like that- but maybe they just aren't as close. I dunno.
