@@mobpsycholoverIrony is defined as both the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, or a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result, typically for humorous or emphatic effect. Given that one’s first inclination would not be to get their piano lessons from youtube, much less actually find them there, and yet you very much can, ‘irony’ is in fact the correct term here.
Different types of Asians have different powers. Japanese & Chinese knows how to use piano, violin and other traditional musical instruments. Indians knows how to dance and use musical instruments. Filipinos knows how to sing, Koreans can sing and dance.
Honestly, if you learn one instrument, then it's easy to learn the rest. Because you already have the knowledge of music when you started on that one instrument. Most people I know who studied music learned 3 or 4 instruments. It's just a matter of preference whether they like to play on only one instrument or play with a ton of it. The difference between someone who plays only one instrument and a couple of instruments is their mastery.
@@ankushchandel1726absolutely it’s that expensive and with good reason. If someone has the skills to teach you and the method to make it quicker than teaching yourself, then they deserve to be paid. It’s also unlikely for a musician to be able to teach 40 hours a week because most people can only learn after hours and they deserve a living wage too, so by extension, each of those limited hours available out of the standard 40 hour work week are more valuable. If you don’t want to pay and can learn from RU-vid and sheet music, that’s great too, but not everyone can/wants to.
I know there's the stereotype that Asians are cheap, but parents must be forking over money for all kinds of lessons for their kiddos, as they really do seem to be more accomplished than any other demographics, not just in academics but also music, arts, sports, etc.
@@Arrabella2024 , Asian parents want the best for their kids, so they will spend money on what’s important. The ‘cheap’ stereotype is/was for Chinese. Us Japanese want ‘quality,’ so we will spend for ‘quality’ items.
I have the white boy version of the same thing, lazy prodigy is what my father calls me 🤣 Even tho my success borders his at half his age "Why are you so lazy". ~dad I run 3 businesses, keep the house clean, and take care of the family "Why only run 3?" ~dad. Cuz my time has value, stupid. If I spend to much time and don't make enough. Its not worth it to run another
This is the most caring and supportive moment from Stevens dad Normally if Steven didn’t know how to do something who would just roast him in all ways possible 😂
@@JonW77 don’t worry, by age nine I had 82 medical practices where I worked as a neurosurgeon at 83 of them. The piano business was on the side, so I just got my father a Gucci backpack with that money. Typical Asian stuff ya know?
@@MrYeast-qm3fr I did all of that by the age of 8! I even have extra 17 years of job experience! I used to walk through the tibetan plateau, through the himalayas, 26 hours a day! I even walked on one foot! The other was starting a business! That too, that foot which started a business made amazon and I even made the Porsche car! Try and beat that!
I've noticed that it's not limited to just Asians. I'm proudly European American....my parents are from Europe. I press many notes at once and it sounds good actually.
My Chinese bestfriend growing up had/still had a piano in his house growing up. He only played and took lessons for maybe 2-3 years. Kid is a virtuoso. Taught me all the basics and I can promise you he hasn’t played in years, but, put a piano in front of him..he’ll play you a masterpiece
The first one was Steven:I'm at 60k subs. Stevens dad:who would want to watch you? When you get to 100k subs get me a Rolex watch,it's good for da wrist
"Look, you can press one, you can press twenty. Same thing, lah!" got me laughing so hard. As an Asian who doesn't play any musical instrument, that's great advice. HAHAHAHA.
Can confirm. One time a silent kid who used to get bullied told me "don't come to school tomorrow" I immediately know he's gonna activate his American genes.
