I have stage 1 scaring. I had a biopsy done on my liver telling me this. I don't drink alcohol haven't for decades. I am 36 years old. My liver is fatty. I am on a low carb diet rich in healthy fats. I have lost 13 lbs so far in 3 weeks. I hope to loose much more weight. I hope the weight loss to stay gone once I reach my goal weight 😁. My blood sugar is under control now in the 90s and 100s. This is because of my low carbs and foods rich in healthy fats like avocados and walnuts etc... I eat lots of salads with salad dressings high in healthy fats and low in sugar. I don't eat any bread whole wheat or not... low carbs, high healthy fat! This is the most direct way to weight loss that I have found that works for me so far. Thanks for the video! 😁 no sugar low carbs and lots of healthy fats!

If you hadn't drank in decades that would mean you haven't ever drank, unless you were under age drinking.

As an update I have reversed my ALT was 123 on 4/9/21 and is now 44 (in range) as of 2/14/22. My AST was 72 on 4/9/21 and is now 26 (in range) as of 2/14/22. All of my bloodwork has improved including my cholersterol which was elevated for a bit but now is reducing. Low carb / Keto as helped me lose 40 lbs over 6 months. I overworked my pancreas most of my life and now my body is getting back in balance this way, as I see it.

Enjoyed this video but some items I do question. EX: My dad just missed 97 he was a grasser so he ate all day & night but only when hungry. He always said don't go to bed hungry. He ate quality foods, no juck food (chips, 🍨, 🍬, 🥤 or monthly 🍟 just on occasion) & only added sugar for his daily ☕ coffee (all day). He enjoyed a daily 7&7 🍾 drink on most days too! He slept 😴💤 8 hours a day on schedule & just walked 🚶‍♂️ to the post office, get gas for the mower

Wonderful presentation. It’s clear this practitioner knows a lot about liver health however he is misinformed regarding FDA dietary supplement regulations. There are indeed FDA regulations for all aspects of dietary supplements which fall under the same umbrella in the US as food regulations. The regulations include labeling and current good manufacturing practices, among other things. And although the regulations differ from pharmaceutical FDA regulations, certain aspects are even stricter (ex: pharmaceuticals can contain less than 100% of added active ingredients whereas dietary supplements must contain no less than 100% of added dietary ingredients). So saying there are no regulations is misinformation.

Describe what you mean as "healthy diet". Also, look at the link between sleep apnea and fatty liver. Look at the link between PFAS chemicals(non-stick cookware, etc) and liver cancer.

Does it matter when the weight is reduced? Suppose a guy who reduced 10 % of weight in the first month vs a guy who reduced 10% weight in 6 months, will it impact the results discussed on 1:19:56

Hi, my query is about fats. Is coconut oil bad for the liver, being an MCT saturated fat? Also, does the cooking of olive oil change the compounds to such, which is negative to health?

Back again. I Have f3 or f4. Dr,s don't know. I choose not to have liver biopsy for obvious reasons not to trigger se-compensated liver. I presented with mild fatty liver in September 2021 and now am F3 fibrosis or F4. My G.P. refused to monitor my disease, resultin g in my January 2023 Elastography result leaving me in compensated F3/F4 Fibrosis/Cirrhosis. Please help me!

The problem is, my Dr. Won't help with my insulin resistance. I have lost 20kgs, down to 74kgs and have NASH. I eat one meal per day and half a cup of yoghurt with few berries at dinner. My pre Diabeties or T2 Diabetes persists. I want to live, not become de-compensatwd and die of this problem. I am 68 and exercise every afternoon for an hour. Can you hwlp me?

What I’ve gleaned from the carnivore gurus I follow (Kelly Hogan, Steak and Butter Gal, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Anthony Chafee, Dr. Shawn Baker): Consider the lion diet (eliminate all except ruminant meats & their fat or tallow, salt, water), increase calories, add 2nd meal (find out TEE calories and make sure you’re meeting the goal-hard to do on OMAD). Too much IF (OMAD vs 2-3 meals) can raise cortisol, stalling fat burn, and stressing the liver. I made a playlist on my channel called “cirrhosis and fatty liver” for a friend… it may also help you find the missing piece. HTH 🙏

Why the itching skin with cirrosis
@yarikfreerunner1
@yarikfreerunner1 Год назад
Could be because of the bilirubin is not expelled successfully with bile. It is "backed up" to the skin.

I think BMI is a bad method of measure & only to be used for a select group of people. If you're large framed as I am I only had 3 months in one year that I was normal at 22.4 & that was during swimming season doing 6 miles a day my sr yr in high school. During football earlier that yr I was bulked up with weight training weighing 20 lbs more, was at 27.2 & labeled as overweight. 😢 Swimming 6 miles a day is not sustainable in life to be normal. This measure should be fixed or just be removed.
