we are a core part of maybe 20 guys and rest is pug and in 3hours we reach ragnaros and on my part i got 0 time prep for the raid cuz i dont even care if it takes 5 mins longer..
You take about 100g or 200g per raid (only saying the latter bc who knows how many dozens of sappers they used) and just get world buffs. That's about all the prep you need, once you have the gear. The rest is coordination.
There's like no prep to this other than collecting worldbuffs. Having consumables on hand is just gold, any player worth their salt has like 5k gold lying around by now ontop of cloudkeeper, extra enchanting mats etc
It's not about good warriors. Just get dal rends, hit, and use mighty rage pots effectively. Tell your DPS warriors to also first global Sunder so the tank can use a better global for snap threat when doing speed like this.
Cleaving bosses, using sappers and killing fire lords before spawns, well, spawn isn't really that crazy. The damage is also easily explained by just playing well and everyone having world buffs. But the way they just keep going and coordinating this, that's more impressive to me.
Progress is a longstanding pserver guild... They raided mc for years. Noone cares about the loot in there, they all had every item they wanted multiple times.
The record can be lower if they assign a trash crew.. have a team of 5-10 split off and pre-clear trash onwards to the various bosses, etc, while the raid is dealing with the bosses. Another potential strat is to split the raid into Two 20 man raids and individually go clear bosses simultaneously. Some groups use to do this on the private realms, however weren't speed run groups, just did it for efficiency and to get to rag quicker, so if an actual speed run group used one of these two strats, i'm sure they can shatter the record greatly.
Maybe with better gear. in naxx gear they can surely handle all bosses with a 20 man group so they can split and kill bosses basically at the sametime. Not sure how the game would like if you pull 2 bosses at the sametime in the instance... but in MC gear its not worth it, much faster to stick together and nuke.
dont think we would be able to do it with current gear. you would get more MC's on luci, and get more then 1 fear on mag more hellfires/stuns on Gehennas more infernos on geddon, you might be able to do stuff like that with full BWL/AQ gear. @Abn here
@@Slainby it's doable, dont forget Classic's MC was cleared on the 5th day after launch with a partial raid and multiple members still at level 58, and most still in 4 days worth of non-optimal leveling/dungeon gear. Needing "future phase" gear is just an excuse for being bad and isn't required if you're at a skill level to speed run MC, as obviously casual guilds aren't applicable to what I have stated above, but only for serious/hardcore and speedrun raiders. Rather all that "future phase" gear will enable is allow skilled individuals to solo MC, as we seen on the harder private servers, where we had fully geared mages, warlocks, and such solo all of MC and many multiple casual geared 2-3 man teams clear it.

Typical MC from decent pserver guild, but with everyone wanting quick as fuck run and with warrior stack(and xfaction buff abuse). Good pserver guild clears mc in 45 minutes(~1h when you are taking it slow/having alts in the raid) without warrior stacking or "rushing". It simply requires brain, some focus and everyone getting their world buffs. I love how asmon goes like "they have everything planned, it's insane"... They've been doing this for the last couple of years. It's not a plan, it's going through the motions.
This kind of guilde have all alts most of the time. They split the raid in two raids with half main and half alt to attrib gear more efficiently in order to achieve this kind of speed run soon as possible
Im amazed at people who think parsing in classic is some sort of hard task. Get the consumables, the fights dont last more than 2 minutes. Whats so fucking hard about it? Parse in a 12 minute 4 phase fight like M Archimonde in HFC and talk.. This shit is kindergarten.
whats funny is how ive been told by so many people cus i started in BC that vanilla was so hard and better. yet i feel like its the easiest xpac to the point were i quit along with many in my guild/friends

it only buffs up the group and its not worth it to bring in loads of shamans for every warrior group unless you would wanna run that many healers, which i doubt they do considering how many dps they have.
ImmortalVeteranPro to be fair a good enhanc shaman can keep up with warriors, & you’d want an enhanc shaman instead of a resto shaman in your warrior group because they have enhanced wf totems that increase the chance to proc wf
lak No... an Enhance cannot keep up with Warriors. Not as tanky, not as much CONSISTENT damage, buffs apply to group only, and if you're speeding through it you have to worry about mana for maximum DPS.
@@lakshmanasilva9591 What is a "good enhancement shaman"? The only time they can keep up with a good fury warrior is when (read: if) they get insanely lucky with WF procs. The longer the fight the more they suffer from their low mana pool and SS occupies a debuff slot the same way MS for Arms warriors does. Just look at Warcraftlogs and it clearly tells you that fury warriors are topping the meters on most pulls in raids right now while they have the best DPS cooldown in the game without even needing it.
Should never go to a ret, any warrior would be crazy to pass on it tho, 2h fury with that weapon will last you past bwl and zg into cthun and even mid naxx
Vadegu hits hard yes, but that’s more a pvp weapon and is more for actual hunters, bre has a stacking buff that lets you ignore armor 2100 armor in fact, you see the best warriors use it almost all the duration of the game
If you are in a normal guild you dont need it. If you speedrun you do need it. People speedrun all types of games and they use all kind of wonky stuff.

@ clearing MC on patch 1.12..... with "quest gears" and more than 1/3 of the raid members not being at max level. Clearing onyxia with 35/40 people in the raid with "quest gears" and few non max level raid members. Asmongold 1 shotting MC and 2 shotting Onyxia for their first kill..... with a group of clowns. Asmongold doing Onyxia with 15 players.... again with a group of clowns. Patch 1.12? I guess not.... its easy to begin with.
@ i did naxx40 in vanilla. it wasn't hard then, and it will be a hell of a lot easier when it comes out on classic because of the same reason the veil of "difficulty in vanilla" will be pulled off the eyes of people who didn't play it back then and only hear about how hard it was from morons who didn't know a god damn thing about the game and having a hard time. the only difficulty in vanilla is finding people who aren't completely fucking stupid.
@ Om aware of that. A pretty bit mistake on blizzards part if you ask me since it trivializes the content to much. Even then the gear does play a big role even in 1.12
this is a pvp server though, but i'm still surprised they managed to get in with all the buffs as they play on the same server as I do (firemaw PVP) and firemaw is the most balanced server out there with pvp action in every single zone in the game
+Julio González Player buffs are one thing, full consumables and world buffs are a whole next level. Any video you find of pre nerf c'thun attempts, just look at the buff bar. No one has full consumables or world buffs.

+Julio González Back then hardly any guild actually abused the world buffs as much as guilds do today. Full world buffs today give the entire raid +15 to all stats, +15% to all stats, +340AP, +18% spell crit, +10% melee crit, +300HP, +10MP5, and +10% to ALL damage. Also, if it's hollows end you can get an additional +25% stamina buff, meaning the entire raid will have +40% stamina so even your squishiest healer will have around 10k hp. Stack full consumables and flasks on top of that and pre-nerf C'Thun will fall.
wow can be as casual or as hard core as you want it to be, tier 1 is the easiest of all raiding content. zg being easy as well since its a catchup raid. aq 20 is a catchup raid sorta and Naxx is the hard stop.
