@@CeasarSeizes very much agree, dunkey has 1 bad video for every 3 videos he releases with repetitive jokes and just boring hammered down popular jokes, for eg his recent battlefield 2042 video. But every now and then he unironically releases actual comedic masterpieces like 'Captcha'

This guy is either so devoid of humor that sarcasm can't penetrate even the deepest depths of his mind, or he is on so much addy that his brain is only in tryhard mode.

it is very forced in nature, or at least he sound like that 90% of the time, but in his interview he said a lot was scripted people like more organic humor, i can almost guarantee that this video would get way less views if it said asmon reacts to "such and such" *For the 2nd time* in the title which means he has already seen it and knows what is going to happen.
If by forced you mean ironic/sarcastic, then I guess. People for some reason have a hard time getting that, and that's the majority of his humor, so probably because of his voice they think it's forced. It's also very common for things that aren't a stream VOD to be scripted, that takes nothing away from the comedy. The delivery is more important than that.
I can see that, but his humor is not centered around his laughs at the end (though he uses that as a tool sometimes). I don't think the comedy suffers at all, especially when mocking laughs aren't the same as genuine laughs in the first place most of the time.
"Loud equals funny" at least loud is better than sitting in silence and adding nothing of value with commentary. Even if all dunkey was was loud equals funny he would still be better than this crap since he puts tons of genuine heart and effort into his content.
The point of dunkey's videos is to show how stupid a good game can get, the unnecesary screams are because his voice is silly and that's his hook you know?
8:30 i love how Asmon back in the day was very worried about watching videos that were longer than 4mins and also concerned about the humor presented, now he is watching meme documentaries and youtuber content that are sometimes spoken by the most obnoxious voices that are humanly possible.

man asmongold is really getting into dark souls, which is a good thing it is a amazing game series and hopefully he will play the other 2 plus this will get him an idea of games outside of WoW

He has a lot of pop culture references from movies that may go over some younger people's heads. He's not doing a serious review which is why I like it.
