Lord, these comments are so annoying, imagine policing someone’s video because you don’t understand asmr 🙄 I thought this was lovely and very relaxing 💕 And the pattern used is lovely! I love cross stitching but I’d never have the patience for such an elaborate piece

Aw thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think it's difficult when ASMR is still being discovered by many, if you don't know what it is I imagine it being frustrating. I love the pattern too, and thats what I love about it is that you have to be patient and take your time with it 😊✨

So impressive yet so relaxing. This I feel would be a lovely way to spend either a cold grey Sunday Afternoon on the sofa or a sunny warm Sunday Afternoon in the park or on beach with friends/partner and lots of goodies to eat and drink. The old put thread in mouth trick to get it through needle :) You sound British like me so trust you know how a manual car operates. It's like trying to achieve 'biting point' with the clutch - has to be perfect balance for engine to move wheels. Thread too moist it won't work. Too dry it won't either. I need to watch rest of your cross stitch videos and keep the relaxing yet educational content coming :)

I loved the video, keep it up! I’ve actually just finished my first pattern not too long ago (tiny pattern, very sloppy lol) and I think I’ve found liking for cross stitch. Now that the quarantine is happening, I’ll have lots of time to practice. Wish me luck :)

I learnt from a video to just pick one strange of thread but for two double it over and knot it at the bottom it changed my life as you don't have to worry about loosing your needle xx just wanted to mention it in case it helps xx lovely pattern by the way what make is it please?

Ooh thank you for the suggestion, I did give this a try yesterday after reading your comment, I do like your technique however I found it a little more inconvenient when getting to the end of the thread because if I haven't left enough then it pulls the stitch too tight, I'm so used to doing it the other way (as that is the way I was taught) but I'll give your way some more practice I think. The pattern is by Janlynn and it's called "Buck's County Farmstand". Thanks again 😊✨

did you use a single stand of string as it is or fold it in half? i’ve been experimenting with both but still not sure which came out on top hahaha

I personally use two strands of thread, I suppose you could just fold it in half but you would run out sooner as it would be such a long piece to work with 😊✨

Hi your crosstitch looks great! Do you start in the bottom left hand corner when you make your crosstitch?

Thank you! No I tend to start in the middle, for this pattern I worked on the left half first because its quite big and the pattern is printed on two pieces of paper. Hope that helps? 😊✨

Ali-May ASMR I’m sorry I meant when your making your crosses....do you go up in the left hand corner and down the top right then come up bottom right to left top?

So sorry I thought my reply had sent but obviously not! Sorry for the misunderstanding. To be honest its personal preference, as long as the crosses all in the same direction at the end then it doesn't matter too much, ideally you want to do half the crosses as you go along a row and then complete the crosses on the way back as opposed to doing each individual cross. its not easy to explain, I did try to in the video sorry if its not clear, hopefully this helps though 😊✨

I got mine from Knitting Village: knittingvillage.co.uk/kits-and-knit-alongs/cross-stitch-kits/?sort=featured&page=1 Doesn't look like they have this particular design available at the moment but if you contact them via the contacts page, maybe even reference this video if its this particular pattern that you would like and they might be able to order it in for you specifically! I think they do 10% off your first order as well. (I promise I don't work for them 😂). Hope this helps 😊✨

The pattern has quite a thick boarder but it's still a little tricky as the needle can be squashed against the frame when I get to the very edge 😊✨

What is ASMR?

ASMR is a tingling sensation that some people get in response to sounds and/or peoples voices. It can be from a physical interaction i.e. someone playing with your hair or though a video of someone talking quietly etc. Hope this helps 😊✨

It was actually the 18th of June, not sure why this matters though? I was whispering as it is ASMR. The video was created for relaxation purposes but I wanted to make it educational too. I'm sorry if it's too quiet for you, it may be your device also as some people don't have a problem hearing it at all, hope you could enjoy the video anyway 😊✨

@@alimayasmr8749 I had my speakers turned up all the way, I think doing a video make it so we can hear, the only reason I give the date is because other video's people can't find it if its and old video, I was just trying to make it easier for you. I do enjoy what you were doing. I do have a ear I can't hear out of hardly, but I wanted to hear and it was a strain. I wasn't trying to be rude, I enjoy watching videos. Yes, it's for relaxation and sleep aid, I didn't expect to have so many people watching it for non asmr purposes so I recorded another one recently where I'm talking a bit louder as the volume has been an issue for a lot of people.
