I respect and appreciate your sincerity. Thank you for your kindness. I do not take as a rebuke. I simply would point out that if I created something and it turned out to be wretched, I would destroy it so it would not metastasize into something worse, which obviously humanity has done. If Toyota made a car that turned out to be faulty and hurt people, they would recall it and make something else. It makes no sense why a creator would make something, realize it is faulty and then just say...oh well...lets see what happens. Secondly, if he is omnipotent and knows all...he would have had to known that they were going to sin when he made them or otherwise he is not omnipotent. These are the questions that burden me.

@ASMRReality and they are good questions; in fact, the same ones that used to burden me. My response is that (1) God did wipe the planet once with the flood to eliminate rampant evil, (2) He is not idly sitting by now; He is actively storing His wrath to pour out on the day of Final Judgement where He will make all things right and establish his perfect kingdom (He is storing it and staying His hand for people to have the chance to repent under point 3), (3) He acted to reconcile broken humanity to Himself by sending Christ, that we may be free of our own sin and one day join in the prefected creation. To your second point, He is omnipotent. He did know man would sin, but without giving man the choice, wouldn't He be more tyrannical than the absentee God you espouse? If we did not have free will, we would be slaves and drones forced to worship a tyrannical God, absent of meaning, choice, and thought. He gave us the choice to love Him or deny Him because He wants our love willingly. That is why He put the temptation in the tree of the Garden. In my example, Toyota made a truck capable of running people over or killing them in drunk driving accidents, but we cannot blame Toyota for the acts of evil people who misuse their creation.

Once again I appreciate your thoughtful comment. That you take the time to at least explain how you rationalize it all in your head says alot about your character. You're a good man and a good representative of your faith.
