The original quote wasn't about how our thinking makes us who we are, or more rather the fact that we can acknowledge our thoughts as our own and the only thing we can prove not an illusion or a figment of our imagination. Exactly, the reversal of the phrase ("I am, therefore I think") is more accurate to how he meant it. Our thoughts are evidence of existence, not it's cause.

Oooo fascinating. I didn't know what his famous quote supposedly meant (according to the common interpretation) until a few years ago. I found it quite strange and funny that some people get their minds confused with their aliveness. Eckhart Tolle has helped me imagine and perceive others' experiences, and then even my own.

When I was in 6th and 7th grade, I used to be in a club where we learned how to speak Ojibwe and about their history. I used to love learning about it (and we got a day off of school almost every week), and we went to tournaments. Every time we went, they would cover us with sage. I love the smell of it and it always calms me, but there were these two girls who would freak out when they did it because it smelled weird to them. Even now, my grandma covers us with sage when we enter her house if we've had a bad week or day, she will also have us rub crystals and Budda's stomach for good luck.

Do you speak fluent Kazakh? I am a super language buff so I always really enjoy ASMR in foreign languages. I especially love seeing them done in less recognized ones. Two things I really enjoyed in this video in comparison to her other videos: 1) The lengthier burn/crackling of sage and smoke cleanse. 2)The singing bowl slowly fading out to rain and thunder sounds on a black screen. As someone who is trying to escape "I think, therefore I am", this video is absolutely amazing in destroying the solipsist black hole seeking to absorb my spirit into nothingness. I accidentally fell into solipsism and I hated it for the aura of spiritual loneliness and nihilistic-like vibes it brings. It used to make sense to me, but I never wanted it to. I have been actively trying to escape it. Fortunately enough, it's working. Thank you.

I can’t even express how much you have helped me with me with my sleep. I have a really disturbed sleep schedule and I have insomnia too and wouldn’t be able to fall asleep for hours even though I have school the next day . I have been listening to this every night before sleep for 3 days now and istg I have been sleeping better than ever😭😭💗💗

Hi ! Thank you so much for your videos, they really help me fighting PTSD at night! I just wanted to tell that the Descarte quote « I think therefore I am » (« Je pense donc je suis » in french) Isn’t about the fact that you exist because you think. It’s about the fact that you can’t doubt about your own existence, because you are thinking. Let me explain : You could doubt about everything around you. The existence of the world we live in, your own body, other’s bodies. But you can’t doubt about the fact that you are thinking, because when you are doubting, you ARE thinking. So you can’t doubt on that, you can’t doubt about your own existence Because you are capable of thinking. That’s aaaalll, kisses from France 💖

I realize this is an old video but I have been enjoying your videos for a while and stumbled across this one. I love the fact that you have Kazak roots. I spent a lot of time in Kyrgyzstan and loved the culture and people there. You are amazing and thank you for these videos

Ive always loved the Kazakh culture and people (Dimash is one of my favorite signers of all time), and especially the Tengri/pagan roots. So stoked to find out youre Kazakh, thats so cool! Your beauty makes a lot more sense too. Kazakh people imo tend to be the most attractive on the planet

"Release what isn't serving you at this moment" was very powerful. Exactly what i did and immediately felt a calm. When you said Release the energy from your legs to your feet and thru your toes I felt this hurtful jolt on my left side(that side swells alot) then it was gone now both feet feel numb but in a good way bcus before they were hurting aching.
