You are not suppose to use toilet paper postpartum lol tip #1 to avoid. You should be using which hazel pads and a peri bottle. Toilet paper will lead to Infections in the vagina after having a whole baby.

@@josiecarpenter21this is interesting. In the UK we use loo roll postpartum. You can buy witch hazel pads wipes but they’re rare (and expensive). We are advised to use a peri bottle filled with warm water and then to dab dry with loo roll. I always find it interesting to hear different approaches

some reminders before bed :) -turn off autoplay -brush your teeth -turn off the lights -use the bathroom if needed -take off makeup (if you wear it) -take out contacts/take off glasses (if you use them -shut your curtains/blinds -take your meds (if needed) -make sure to be in comfy clothes -plug in any devices you have -make sure that if you're using headphones that are connected -make sure you're comfy and ready for bed -goodnight! i luv you and i hope you have the best day/night/afternoon/morning! you are amazing and deserve the world xox

make sure all doors/ windows are locked and stoves are off, if you use a heater, make sure its off or Not near anything

Sharing my experience ❤ The first three months with a newborn are absolutely brutal. But by month 5, it lightens up a LOT! Now my LO is a year and we feel like ourselves 100%. So if it gets hard Grace, just know it gets better! Wish someone had told me!

13:58 This reminds me of some advice I've heard before! Someone mentioned that getting your hair done, your nails done, etc. before your baby can be really helpful. She said having all of that done made her feel so much more put together after giving birth. She said there's just so much going on after birth that it's nice to have at least a few things looking extra cute. (And it's also some much needed self-care and a much needed "reward" for growing a whole human!)

It feels so bizarre watching this video. I only found asmr last year while pregnant with my baby girl. You were one of the first creators I found. I remember this exact night last year (my baby girl will be one on the 28th) feeling early labour pains and watching one of your mouth sounds videos and it helped calm me down and the Braxton hicks eased. Hey Grace! Ive been watching you for years. Since i had my first LO. Im so happy for this new chapter of your life! I wish the best for you and your family. 💚 The swaddles were so useful in the hospital since baby will be getting all kinds of exams and checkups by different nurses! Just a quick little bit of info that no one asked for 😅. They recommend keeping a little hat on baby, the hospital will provide one. Its usually very stretchy but fitted, it helps with the head formation (sometimes their heads are a little cone shaped). As well as retaining body heat. The headbands are adorable and definetley cute for first photos in hospital! Hope this helps in some way!

I LOVED ritual while I was pregnant and I love it postpartum. It was the only prenatal that didn’t make me want to hurl. Postnatal vitamin is great also!

hi grace! Just a little tip you may or may not already but both my girls were under 7 lb and newborn clothes swallowed them so if you haven’t already I’d suggest grabbing a few premie things as well! Wishing you the best of luck with everything!

I’m not exactly sure how washing hair extensions works but when I had my baby I sweated a lotttt so I was really glad to wash my hair after. We also had to stay for like 5ish days? Because I got an infection from my water breaking prematurely. Hopefully you’ll get home soon but it’s just a thought in case you would like to wash your hair after !
