Now would that one legendary ship battle that has two ships allow you to somehow control both ships at once? Or would you be in control of one and the other kinda just follows you around?
El impoluto was indeed a beast, it was so fast and mostly did damage by ramming🥶🥶 I think HMS Prince was the easiest legendary ship to take down in this game.
Yes. HMS Prince is just a normal Man O' War. The only problem was if you fight at night the environment is pretty foggy during this battle and if you are not paying close attention to the radar you can get close to her broadside or within her mortar hit area. During day she is a joke, I mean normal.
@@konighartzderiv.4898 Yeah but it is so weak from the back and it can also be damaged by mortars from the top. I will say La Dama Negra is powerful but El Impoluto has the most health, has a ram that can take a full health bar away, is fast af, and it's broadsides are so devastating. And you do make a good point about the armor but still.
I just wish you were able to change ships and customise them. I'd have been more than happy with a frigate. I just felt the Jackdaw was too small considering who she went up against.
It's my understanding that the Jackdaw was actually on the larger end of the scale for pirate ships. In general, pirates preferred smaller, faster ships. Frigates and galleons were rare. If I remember right, Kenway even joked about "Is mine bigger than yours?" That said, it would have been awesome in the game to switch between ship types for different purposes but being able to sail a man 'o war might have been OP, especially if you could upgrade it like the Jackdaw.
@@177SCmaro oh couldn't agree more. A man o war would be far too big. And yes your totally right that they did proffer faster and smaller ships, i would have just liked the option for the game.
I wish you could rematch these majestic vessels. Without the reward of course, but the challenge is a reward enough. Also, who else loves that ominous hollow sound when one of the two sister ships or El Impoluto get close to you? Gives me the chills every time.
For me, the sweatiest ship was La Dame Negra, her long-range mortars made maneuvering very difficult, and the onboard guns took away the health of the Jackdaw very well. It was easier for me to fight with other legendary ships.
Those two were just two level 60 man o wars, just dont get sandwiched and its pretty easy. La dama negra was just go to the back and not get killed. Hms prince was pretty easy. El Impoluto i barely managed to kill after a storm killed it for me after getting it down to barely any health, nearly killed me since it was pretty much facing the jackdaw on roids
I remembered running into El Impoluto as the first legendary ship. I had a almost complete elite jackdaw to beat her. Last time I ever got so physically aggressive of beating such a thing. She was the last of the four to go down. And the satisfaction was very rewarding.
Yeah, I'm with you guys when it comes to the jackdaw as your only usable ship when you literally owned a fleet of different types of ships. I always wanted to play as a galleon or a frigate.
Yes, you are right. Me too but Frigates have extremely bad maneuverability compared Brig which Jackdaw was. When we used Black Beard's ship in the game which was a frigate we realized that. Only a brig like Jackdaw can take on two Man O' Wars at the same time with good maneuverability.
The Legendary Ship fights in Black flag were epic. The whole point of approaching the ship and a crew member suddenly describes it menacing aura and then the intense battle music, everything's just perfect. They did dirty with the legendary battles in Rogue. The whole atmosphere was missing and we were fighting with allies which was pretty annoying cause you get unnecessary nuances to take care of as well as the huge ships. The only great thing was The Storm Fortress and she was actually a demon.
I'll never forget the terrifying moment when I first fought El Impoluto. I already killed 3 of the ships at this point and I was horrified when instead of going broadside and firing it charged right at me at full speed. Chunked my Jackdaw to half health with a single attack. It's the only legendary ship that actually killed me the first time. I miss these games.
Yea took me a good 4 tries on it. I had to fully upgrade my hull and ram for it. Instead of running and turning away from it I decided to just full turn into it with my own ram and it worked.
@@IamSnehan I underestimated her for being a Man O' War and when she caught up to pretty I was genuinely surprised. But since I fought with her first in the game without I at first had a bit problem with controls of the ship and those battles refined my controls during my first playthrough. Same goes for LA DAMA NEGRA. Fighting against her and avoiding her special mortar shots helped me during my battle against The Storm Fortress.
I hope for the remaster to allow us to use the legendary ships after we defeat them, imagine attacking forts while using el impolunto while blasting bismark, the memes would be legendary

an AAAA pirate themed game that has no wilderness exploration, no swimming, no ship combat, the game lacks a lot of basic features like what Sea of Thieves has.
If they just made the small change of you being able to make a captured ship in your fleet your main ship this would be absolutely perfect. It’s still great but I feel like I’m struggling against these higher level ships and naval bases
The only ones I struggled with were the two ones since my strategy was just ram the ship shoot cannons at it until it was dead and it worked until I had to deal with two and then when you sink one the next just charges at you twice your speed.
Nothing will ever hit right as the time I beat storm fortress first try, 3 legendary ships, one lil ol dinky morrigan, and a lot of avoiding being on any of their broadsides
Imagine if there was a legendary ship like ac rogue's storm fortress but it has the impoluto ram la dama negra armor and hms prince fog called the cry of war
I feel as though the “Prince” was wasted potential, a ghost ship that could of had better maneuverability and greater durability rather than being turned into a gage compare to the El Impunto It’s a shame that you couldn’t command the legendary ships without mods as they would have proven BETTER ships than the jackdaw, and that’s not including the customization and upgrades you can do Imagine what a combination of the Prince and El Impunto can do! 🧐
Bro all i want is have adventures in a behemoth like a man o war... I still remember me playing the first time and beeing like "oh kennways fleet? Nice i can change ships..." No. Just automated missions and a sad excuse of a minigame
I bought the game on Xbox, got a broken copy and the dude for the next story line peogression was missing. Long story short I ended up just sailijg around taking forts.
back in the days there use to be an exploit where you just swim to any legendry ship climb up kill all the cre on the deck and voila the whole ship is knocked out.
In all fairness I would've loved to have been able to choose a frigate and make it into the queen anne's revenge after blackbeard died let the legend sail on
I wish that for every legendary ship the jackdaw gets a ability kinda like mega man like for example if u defeat legendary ship on the north west st side it makes the jackdaw faster Then get the uprated ram Then on the north east side legendary ship u get the ability to shoot cannons further away, increase in number e.g frigate and also u get the ability to call your other ships to give u a hand from kenways fleet Then on the south east side u get an ability to shoot mortars like a man o war an increase of damage from the mortars Then on the south west u get an ability of amor e.g every time u brace ur selves it equips metal armor on the sides just like the south west legendary ship

I wish there was a mod to capture ships and send them to Kenways fleet, then utilize those ships in the game as is. Sloop-Man O' War, I'dve used them all. Get faster with smaller, more health/Crew/firepower with the tubs. Would've really been awesome
