You can trust on Ubisoft with Assassin's Creed games because they don't downgrade Assassin's Creed games......every game in AC like Unity , syndicate or any other......they showed true footage. It's 100% real gameplay footage.
If you haven't played AC2, you will never be able to feel the magic of Assassin's Creed..:( By the way this one is going to be the best and the longest game ever in AC series.. I have played each and every game of this series but this game's story map is humongous.! It made me recall Skyrim's map.! :P Though, I'm doubtful about my graphics card, I don't think it'll support me for this..:(
I loved Assassin's Creed until they decided to kill off Desmond. When he was alive, there was something to look forward to other than the gameplay and historical storylines. I still remember the elation of seeing Desmond grow from ex-bartender without skills to becoming a badass, picking up skills of Altair, Ezio and Connor.
I hope that what you're implying comes true soon. Because the whole "unnamed protagonist" thing in the modern day storyline is getting boring. They really need to focus a bit more on that storyline instead of just memories.

ChAoTiC DrEaMeR While I agree that it was a dumb decision to make story wise, I still love ACIII despite all of the hate it gets, the story felt new and unique, just like Black Flag and Rogue. My two favorites in the franchise. Origins will be a welcomed addition for me.
Hiiiiiiiiii Jaby They have changed the combat in Origins. It is not the way it use to be... Now if you wait for the enemy, or surround yourself with enemies you will die. The combat in Origins depends on how the player wants to plays (stealth, or warrior).
What the hell is this guy talking about? The combat is wayyyy more responsive now! Enemies no longer stand around waiting to die, they actually react and fight to win rather than waiting to attack.
the bird eye vuew mechanic is new, Jaby. And as for the character being more agile, in AC Unity (the game just after the pirate one, named Black Flag) had redone movement mechanics which made movement/freerunning much smoother that has seemingly been transferred into this new title. makes it look sooo sick. Been a fan since AC2 and am looking forward to buying and playing the Hell out of this one.
I try my best to stealth, but I always end up in man mode and power through the enemies. Happens in Dishonored, Deus Ex, Assassins Creed and other games. Guess its not my style lol.
Fuck Dishonored man. I like the game and yes it's great stealth but I get spotted all the fucking time. And the fact you need health potions and you don't just heal over timiis stupid

You really shouldn't compare the quick time events used in GoW, for constraining action sequences (i.e. action choreography is planned by the developers), to an actual free-flow combat system seen in AC, which allows the gamer to be in charge of attacking, blocking, dodging, or assassinating. btw, i can relate with your feelings regarding Assassin's Creed. I also played the first AC game and never finished it, i do own a couple more games from the AC franchise that i haven't even touched yet.
When it comes to Assassin's Creed games, I pretty much think of them like Michael Bay movies. The story, just like the gameplay, is bland and tedious but the action and visuals are beyond amazing. And they'll both have you silently wanting more like a guilty pleasure would.

Origins isn't similar at all. You should watch the video that explain it. Its gonna be the best one ever. Even better then 2, and 2 is what an Assassin's Creed game should be.
