Assassin's Creed Rogue is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Sofia and published by Ubisoft. It is the seventh main game in the Assassin's Creed series and serves as a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (2013), and is related to Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed Unity. It is the last game in the series to be developed for the seventh generation of consoles, being released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2014, and for Microsoft Windows in March 2015. Its remastered version was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 2018.[3] It was also released on Nintendo Switch as part of The Rebel Collection alongside Black Flag in December 2019.

I prefer the “heavy” parkour engine over the one in AC Unity where it looks like Arno is just floating and making weird, unnatural jumps

@@niko-im8nl yeah you need real precision to make a jump look good I really like unity parkour and the way it moves overall but man is it unfinished the game really needed more time in the oven

Very good and underrated game, way better than the bugfest and mess that Unity was. Shame, it was so short and the potential felt unrealised in some areas. It could be one of the best for me if it wasn't for it :/

well you can blame the community for unity being buggy. if they never forced ubisoft to publish it early, the game would be less buggy.

Well ac3-rogue basically were all pretty similar to begin with, Unity had an entirely different engine than 3-rogue

AC unity parkour might look flashy becaue it is just flashy, on reality the parkour on AC unity sucks its unresponsive and janky and its much faster to just run on the ground

Sadly true. It looks good but lacks a lot of polish that it very much needs. Though rouge's parkour ain't perfect either as it can often act up and is a little hard to control when you are in a more urban environment.

Agreed. I've recently started playing through the AC franchise and I'm now at Unity. This game is a terrible bug fest and I hate the parkour so much. It's so clunky and slow. They were trying to do something new here for sure, but that didn't work well. I have no desire to play Syndicate after that. Rogue on the other hand is a very good game. Shame it was so short. It had a huge map, but there's so little content. Anyways, I'm taking Rogue over Unity all day

the graphic looks a little better because it was a game that came out after the era of ac 1, ac2 etc. even though this Assassin's Creed ezio trylogi came out later, the engine is the same as the old ones.
