Welcome back to some more Assassin's Creed Unity. For this video, I have some highlights from a couple missions I ran through in my last play session. As we wait for my information and new gameplay of Valhalla I felt the need to come back to one of my favorite AC games. I've always hoped they would come back to the ideas they brought to this game and flesh them out for a new AC game. I feel this game did a lot of things right although it came out at the wrong time.

After years people are finally realising how good this game was. Nowadays Assassins creed is completely different . This was the last genuine assassins creed game. Edit: 1. Many people pointed and yes I totally missed the Syndicate. It was good too. 2. Not saying the newer games are bad. Just giving my subjective opinion how older titles were more aligned with the original concept and newer ones have sort of become open world rpgs like Witcher etc. If you feel newer ones are better, kudos to you. Arham M. Khan yeah I don’t like the arcady thing they’re going for nowadays. Also most bugs in unity are fixed which makes it a really good game in my opinion

Not even a good rpg lol. Your choices mean jackshit. Gameplay sucks ass. Voice acting is absolute rubbish. Fighting is boring AF cuz enemies are just massive damage sponges. Overall just a grindy mess. Hope Quebec never touch AC again😌

even if thats true its probably the stupidest fucking thing to say cuz it doesnt matter its like saying some gta for example lets say gta v is good game overall but bad gta game it makes no sense, the game is a gta, this game is a assassins creed, if its bad assassins creed game it cant be good, maybe under other title it would be better but as long ad its assassins creed game u cant say its good

The reason why its underrated because they released an unfinished game and this led to the game having bugs I mean literally crazy like bugs ruining the gameplay at every point. Now its more fixed and updated and looks good but the time has gone for it to reach up the market

So i felt liie going back, played this and wow its such a great game the graphics the parkour, man the parkour. I wish ac stayed this way just fixed it to make sure it was done right.. heres to hoping valhala is little more like old ac games and caters to fans of the old games

@@SahilP2648 the atory sucks, generic. But the mechanics do not the parkour is awesome the conbat is not easy, i would say it missing more finiahing moves. But it not easy and not to hard. The stealth of the game just makes you feel like a real assassin. Unlike the new games there completley trash. Hope valhalla has more stealth and better parkour and better combat then the last two games

Best assassins creed of the generation. So much fun just running around the city, parkour and stealth are great in this game. Even with the bugs and jankyness it's still leaps and bounds better than syndicate, origins and odyssey.

I was just playing Unity! Been trying to get quicker and smarter with my movement and tools. It's a great feeling when you run through a mission that gave you trouble years ago and can clear the area like it was nothing.

This was actually one of the first games I ever saw lol, I remember being either 6 or 7 and being over at this kid's house (Yeah, he was around 2 years older than me and was already playing this game), he was with his friends and they were trying to guess what he needed to do next, and one said "The shield on his cape looks like a pizza hahaha". I remember being blown away at how good it looked at the time and being hypnotized by the gameplay. A long time went on before I knew what the game was called until I finally figured it out lol.

@@ashnemer Bayek was a great protagonist though, and the story was pretty good as a whole. Not to mention the gameplay was a well-needed change from the previous games. I can understand why people don't like Origins for it's shift in direction, but there's a reason why Bayek is pretty much universally loved

For me, this felt like a next gen game ahead of its time. The amount of detail and scope was amazing. It still looks like something we’d see release today. With some new additions as well like raytracing.

the brotherhood of assassins has been around for a long time. people complaining how the recent games “aren’t good assassins creed games” don’t realize that the older assassins tactics weren’t so stealthy. being an assassin isn’t in how you kill, it’s what you kill for. saying that the recent games aren’t “good assassins creed games” doesn’t really make sense. if you want to play the same game over and over, then play the originals. i’m glad that they’ve been introducing new mechanics

I got the game in my uplay library when It was free last year. But never wanted to play as I was obsessed with AC origins and other games. This is the only AC game I skipped. Now finally I am gonna download it.

@@MaximusLX its good so far. I just played intro and few minutes of Arno in regular robes. The parkour is awesome, so much better than the later ones. Graphics look realistic and Paris is beautiful. I don't know what this game packs, so far I regret skipping it earlier ;)

I have to point out how good the parkour animations were look at 6:16, Arno does a Kash vault onto a slightly lower elevation! They even factored in ground level valuating animations for slightly different heights. This game had such perfect parkour and they motion captured a famous free-runner. Why can't the Ubisoft teams just share and reuse this same code for Parkour animations (apart from the flailing arms when doing big jumps, that's cringe no one does that unless you're actually have no control of your jump 😂) for all the games?

No they're not, nobody jumps on top of somebody and kills them. That would just crush the assassin's legs

Realistic is a wrong word here. I think he means to say the movements are smooth, unlike newer titles, where the pace is broken while assasinating enemies.

I miss this game, the story isn't special, but this was the last assassin Assassin's Creed game. The parkour and how you move from one kill to the next was just so smooth.

The animations had some issues, but in genaral is great and fun. The last big actual inovation from an AC game. After that AC is trying to be mass effect

The reason that that happens is because Unity’s animations are random. That animation is meant to play when Arno is making a small hop across a little gap, but the game chose to use that animation for a much larger gap. It’s really just an example of the lack of polish in Unity.

I discovered AC when I was 15 in 2016 with AC syndicate which made me love this series. I played 4 AC games and my top 4 AC games is : 1-AC Origins 2- AC unity 3-AC syndicate 4- AC Odyssey

I doubt a reboot is necessary. However, they can make another game involving altair and other assassins. Since Layla has an amunis that can view the lives of people who aren't her ancestors, she can possibly view altair's life and other assassins he may meet.

I was away from what ppl use to say when this game came out. I enjoyed this game to the fullest that time, and I still do. I knew I'd be the one to say later that I told you so. I love the graphics, combat and parkour in this. Far from what Origins and Odyssey have conjured.

Watching Arno in Altair suit, I think Assassin's Creed Remake is a really good idea. Ubisoft can fix the game, unlock its full potential and return to the roots of exploration/stealth gameplay.

My biggest issue with AC origins was just the lack of parkour and the way the game made you play the side quest. Other than that it was was a great origin story with probably my favorite Assassin so far
