Note: For steel shafts that allow the ferrule to slide further up the shaft, you may want to put the ferrule on first before applying epoxy to the end of the shaft, then slide the ferrule down to meet the clubhead. This is difficult with graphite shafts since the ferrule fits much tighter due to the paint and clearcoat on the shaft. You may need to sand or file the inner ferrule for fitting.
