I just want to tell everyone what I just saw. Really big thanks for sharing this. Amazing crate of parts ,and bike. Well done Honda. Super tech. Ole is to put such a thing together.
I guess that is the $15k kit from Honda(HRC also calls it the "Sport Kit", so humble ^^), that turns the bike into a 212HP Beast of beasts, with a top speed to match. So light, so flickable, and so goddamn beautiful!
While I really have no interest in this bike (NR750 is much more interesting IMO) I certainly appreciate it exists and the craftsmanship that Honda put into its creation. Hopefully the owner rides it.
Yup, the new owner will be riding it! We also sold another one in the crate a few months later and that owner will be riding it as well - though he had us keep it street-legal.
US spec for this bikes were so fucking horrible lol. I'd probably guess they installed the EU kit on this. The limitations being imposed on this was just so dumb. HONDA should just have focused their market somewhere. It ruined this icon
I bet the price goes up greatly as well! Beautiful engineering and bike in general, shame Honda has taken such a back seat in MotoGP compared to the mighty European motorcycles, who would have thought when they used to rule and dominate some years ago!
Hate Honda... but why??? the NSX-r, the mp4/4, CBR250RR, S2000??? HUH??? The welds on Hondas are beautifully perfect btw and no other engines rev so freely as Hondas do...
@@thelegendrider6007 similar? there is no similar on a race bike that has lot of R&D vs a road bike. only crash parts to be sold on blackmarket can be similar
@@thelegendrider6007 you forgot that motogp is a R&D full race parts than a road bike whos only made for road when you track it.. you buy parts you improve by buying not for developing the parts 😂😂😂 I hope you get my comment cuz buying is buying but developing is way more expensive
Er... Ok, I'll resist the urge to be snide, too many people are these days. Honda is a pioneer in the design and use of V-4 motorcycle engines. While they still make excellent inline 4s, the V-4 layout has been chosen for many high-performance applications, notably in their Grand Prix racing machines. Honda has used V-4s in many road bikes, mostly sport tourers. For sport bikes, they tend to reserve the V-4 layout for limited production, ultra-high performance machines like the RC30 and RC45. The V-4s have an interesting sound, reminiscent of a V-8 at certain RPMs.
THE most stunning bike being video’d on a phone, but the real crime, is you record in portrait mode and not landscape mode, so there is a tiny vertical frame of video playing!! Come on….
Why on earth decide to take it in portrait mode so you can't see much of the bike half of the time. Or is that half of the bike all of the time? Google Vertical Video Syndrome, even more relevant today as people don't realise peoples eyes are on the same leve; : The phone is shaped like that as your mouth is not at the same level as your ears, and they were originally developed for talking into and hearing a reply. Believe it or not.
This was originally filmed as a series of videos for our social media (specifically Instagram, as you might see in the bottom left corner of the video). We thought it would be nice to assemble everything together as one video for RU-vid as well. The other option was not putting anything on RU-vid at all.
Pure red, blue and white. All colors are primary. It's a really bad design. Also honda cbr tails are fucking bad.Why don't you see R1 tails 2012 and later.
