Wzrd Don't forget that 4AGE can take abuse. In initial D, the TRD tuned engine revs to 11K. Plus, your comment is only true when Takumi is behind the wheel.

Yep, and i would've had a cupholder with tofu in it and my shifter & e-brake on the left side while it was pitch black. But it's just a game so im OK :D

Location is real maybe some curves are more open than usual longer than "Akina-Haruna" in Japanese as Kaido Racer or Tokyo Xtreme Racer games curves are much more closed and speed the passage of curve is not so exaggerated as in this game.

Sergio Casas To be fair 1st, I play in Initial D Arcade Stage and I know that every game has different style and feel to it. 2nd, Initial D style would be more aimed on a Time Trial or Competition. So its more of racing downhill or uphill rather than drifting on every bit of asphalt.

This is something that bugs me in all these "Initial D style" videos. The driving depicted in Initial D is closer to a rally style, you slide into corners but you come out of it on a racing line. It's nothing like the flashy always sideways drifting in competitions. It's actually sliding into the corner and across the apex, and then coming out with just enough rotation the car regains grip for the straight.

Just do it ! it's a blast, the setup is close to stock btw. Check out my other video's where i explain how to drift. There i show you the AE86 setup i run :)

Will do, and what are you using for an E-brake? I use one of the wheel button binds on the G27 and have gotten used to holding that button while the wheel turns by some miracle, but i've looked at some DIY ebrakes using a switch and I was pretty interested in making one. I've done plenty of drifting myself and usually tune without too much issue, but I've had some trouble with the AE86's by Kunos and haven't really figured out why yet. Very light steering, feels like low caster and maybe some low FFB on top, but I never had problems with any of the AE86s in Rfactor or mods

I use a PS3 controller strapped to my chair. The analog stick is being pushed down by a lever which sits next to me like a legit ebrake... And i use rubber band round the lever to pull it back down :D It's DIY AF but it's been working for 2 years now without a single problem haha

Oh yeah. I know its hard. x3 But god when you can do it right consecutively it just feels SOOOO rewarding.

Maybe the push and pull method is only natural on the G27 because the wheel simply does not rotate fast enough like the more expensive wheels? But anyways i guess its still best not to use that method for drifting even on a slower wheel lol.

Ivan Mixo he could of gotten 45 seconds faster. I got 6 minutes by drifting and 5:45 by driving a FD down this track on the touge server

@@8KGarage well hot damn, you're an animal. I've had the game for about a week now, and just recently switched to the "Pro" pre set, feels a lot more fun but it's really easy to slide out. Guess I got some more practice to do!

The point of drifting a corner is to go faster through it then just normal driving.

INSANE TV depends on the corner, but yes. You’ll see in the anime that they prioritize racing lines over style and only drift when it can help them out.
