I don't play long but on Sylva I've never encountered Malachite in the caves so far. For now I only see it in the mountains. Perhaps some patch changed that and indeed mountain resources are only in mountains ?
I think that vesania is actually better because an the core of vesania even though the scanables are non as good they are far more abundant and vesania has 3 out of four gasses for nanocarbon alloy excluding helium and you can just use scrap farms for all the other raw resources making it the beat planet for nanocarbon alloy
It isn't exactly easy to get ammonia from a soil centrifuge as you can only get one ammonia from two small soil canisters without first spending a huge amount of resources just to make the buildings, auto arms, and platforms, to set up automating the obtaining of 1 ammonia per second through soil centrifuges. On the other hand, ammonia is most abundant on Calidor (thus auto extractors placed atop ammonium deposits faster at obtaining ammonium than soil centrifuges) and, along with hydrogen, makes Calidor an ideal place to automate hydrazine production. Ammonia deposits on Sylvia is much less abundant, though, although the hydrogen is more abundant there, so fewer places on Sylvia to automate hydrazine production.
I haven't gathered much ammonium on other planets, as I normally get a rover that can mine soil as soon as I can, making it easy to manufacture it on Sylva using the centrifuge. I should probably try the auto-extractor on planets where it is more abundant, though. That sounds like a much better method while the veins last.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer on ship wracks ... also alot of QRTGs can be found there (can be found everywhere, but on the 2nd cave layer it was absurd, like every 3rd wracked platform had a QRTG)... it is fun the hunt for them using the hoverboard
I got my sulfur from atrox cause I need a condenser setup for helium there anyways, being afk for a little longer beats setting up a new one or transporting a condenser outpost. But play however you want, it's not about doing it in the fastest or most efficient way possible.
It’s a shame you didn’t cover ammonium in this video because many players don’t know how much more common it is on certain planets than it is on others and thus struggle constantly with trying to get it outside of the ripoff that is the soil centerfugue So to do your job for you, glacio, get ammonium on glacio, it’s literally almost as common there as hematite is there
Ammonium is especially abundant on the surface of Calidor, and you need at least twice as much ammonium as you do hydrogen to automake hydrazine. Sylvia is a distant second on automating hydrazine production, even if hydrogen is more abundant on Sylvia, ammonium deposits are 1/3 rare on Sylvia.
I actually use Atrox for Helium, Methane and Sulfur becuase that way I only need to set up a system at a total of 3 planets (Sylva, Glacio, Atrox) to get all gasses
For gases i suggest going to calidor for sulfur because you can power a whole atmospheric condenser with 3 medium solar panels but if you'd want to get sulfur in atrox you'd have to get 10 medium solar panels and wind sucks because solar panels are always half the time working but wind even on glacio can not work many of the times... You may also get methane on novus just because it had high solar and high wind
Today i found a triple spawn of those Byte crystals in the caves of Novus with 650-700 bytes each but they have a long respawn timer... I wonder if a 4 times 50 spawn with a short respawn timer yields more bytes in the long run.
I found out that you can somewhat efficiently get copper from the mantle of Sylva as at my current save i had only three copper deposits near to me and they combined had around 15 copper which ended pretty quickly.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer bro I was drilling a hole to the core of sylva and saw a Copper Vain the size of which competes with that of the largest compound vains
@@fragment5811 That's a yikes. If I were you, I'd go to Vesania or Calidor next since they're nice. Or you could just use soil for whatever you're trying to get instead of Astronium.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer That’s fair, I haven’t had as bad of a problem as an electrical invasion, but some of the bastards drowned themselves in my kettle and delayed my morning tea
