My 2014 Asus Q551L has intermittently started to show the pink screen lines. I temporarily fixed this by opening the computer back and first disconnecting then reconnecting the 2 video ribbon cable connections and also used a small screwdriver to reposition the ribbon cable that tucks into each hinge and everything seems to be working normal for now.
