Thanks for the tutorial, i was able to clean up my fans pretty well after 5 years, and the heat and temperature went down a lot, from 85-95 C (playing) to 70 to 80 as top, thank you so much.

Oh, damn, I need to open up mine right now, I never cleaned it thoroughly and I think I have a couple of blankets in there. Thanks for the vid. I hope I can remove the heatsinks and fans without disconnecting the LCD though...

.Hello, I have an Asus Rog gl 530vd laptop.After cleaning it , everything works except the screen, which is black, but the laptop works on an external screen. I replaced the screen cable with a new one, but the screen is still black. Today I tried the laptop screen on another laptop and it worked. Therefore, the fault is not from the screen or the screen cable.
