YES 👏🏻 when I did my first day of jumping rope I didn’t stretch before or after like an idiot and it took me 4 days to recover from extreme soreness with wrapping my knees and ankles. after that I did similar stretches to these BEFORE AND AFTER jumping and then I only had minimal soreness. if your starting out like me I cannot stress enough how important it is to stretch so you can jump right back into your exercise routine without missing days because of pain

As a Yoga Teacher for almost 30 year. I LOVE!! this. I do it regularly with this video. There is no good or bad at Yoga. Everyone is on their own journey and Brandon I love your attitude. I have followed you two for a while now (years) and I just think you are both amazingly REAL!! never change. Even my 16 year jumps rope with you now. Keep up the amazing work

I am 49 and weighed 91 kgs. I did jump. Rope from 01/04/2020 started with 100 numbers and raised to 300 numbers.. Last week when i checked my weight it was 88.5 kgs and inch loss of 4 inches. Bot last 2 days my leg were paining and foot soaring. This video is a blessing. Thank you.

I'm stuck in another country right now and I somehow didn't forget to bring my JR before I came here. After I found your channel like last month, I never stopped jumping everyday except for a day or 2 rest after a week of JR. Easiest workout and consistency since all the gym is closed but I have JR as my current go to equipment. Keep it coming!

Just started today forgot warmup like an idiot. Did 30 mins of jump groping Thank fully remembered to cool down At the start couldn't even sit in vajrasana (the anterior stretch position) but at the end sat in it comfortable. It definitely works Thanks a ton.

Great video! Just completed 90k skips in 70 days and starting to get in shape. Shin splints however stay a big obstacle for me and rigorous stretch sessions are the only way to keep it fun!

To the ones who don't have patience like me: -Anterior tib stretch (60 s) -Hamstring stretch (30-40 s) -Cat cow stretch (5x) -Upward-facing dog (15 s) -Downward-facing dog (60 s) -Side stretch(30 s each leg) -Cat cow stretch (3x) -Upward-facing dog (15 s) -Downward-facing dog (10 s) -Pigeon pose stretch (65 s each leg) (gradually lower yourself during the stretch) -Downward-facing dog (10 s) -Anterior Tib stretch (60 s) Obs: The time used was based on how long he was doing the stretches, and some of them were rounded; This list do not replace the content video, it's just for organization; =D If you don't saw the video, do me this favor; And the most important #DOTHETHING. I’ve never really enjoyed yoga before, I think I don’t have the patience, but that was absolutely brilliant, so accessible and no stretch was too long or too difficult for a novice like me to hold! Only started jumping rope recently and my legs have been in a lot of pain. During lockdown I have only been able to jump rope on hard surfaces like tarmac and concrete. However, after doing this for the first time straight after a workout I feel amazing this is great!

Jump Rope is basically one of the most optimal yet underrated exercises. It targets two of the most important body parts- the heart/lungs and the calves (w/c is the body's 2nd heart).
